OH MY GOD SOMEONE ELSE THAT ACTUALLY PLAYS ICEJADE RA For those confused, Ra's support cards have a lot of synergy with Icejades. . Guardian Slime can summon itself as an emergency body to both trigger Icejade grave effects and search True Sun God when destroyed, and can also be summoned easily via Tremora for a free Egyptian God Slime. . Egyptian God Slime serves as a layer of targeting and battle protection for your monsters. Paired with Icejade Gymir Aegirine's effect, it becomes even harder to get rid of since it can't be destroyed *or* banished. It's also a better target for Cenote Enion Cradle's ATK reduction than Kosmochlor, forcing opponent's monsters to lose 3000 ATK when a summon happens. . True Sun God can buy you a turn against players that don't read it (which is a worryingly large portion of the playerbase) since it prevents monsters from attacking the same turn they were Special Summoned. This affects your monsters too, so you should keep in mind to activate it after the Battle Phase if you want to beat over a problem card or get some damage in. Can also search Sphere Mode on activation to squash a menacing board that you can't deal with otherwise. With so many layers of battle protection and floating effects on destruction, chances are your opponent will be unable to clear everything from your board and fall for at least one of your battle phase countermeasures. Ra serves as the kill button of the deck, and can even cycle to Immortal Phoenix if you just need to remove your opponent's destruction-immune monsters. It's still a really jank deck though, and tends to be bricky.

The Ra player could've summoned Ra before making Supereme Sovereign and hit for game over Lovely Labrynth, but because they were under Maxx "C", played it safe and went for the banish effect of Supreme because they could've drawn Effect Veiler and turned the Mega Ultra Chicken into a 0 ATK and DEF target.

Holy s*** I finally figured it out. Sword soil plus baron plus superdreadnought damage equals 8300. Which is 400 damage more than ra would be able to do with the direct attack. This man is a freaking god
