Royal Australian Air Force Pilot FLTLT "Bung" from 2OCU rips into his home town display over the majestic Phillip Island. This was his last display and the first display of a F/A-18A Hornet at the Island in many years. Come onboard for one of the best displays this year.

without doubt the best vid I have seen... What a view of the best track in the world from a angle that 95% of us humans will never see... Loved taking pics of this last year. One of the pics I took got used in ever single mag and website I work for both here in Oz and Europe... Hope these lads are back at the island in October!

Wonderful video. I have watched aviation videos on RU-vid for a long time and have seen a huge amount. These videos done by the RAAF in their F/A-18s are just what I like to see. Keep them coming. Currently the best videos bar none. I am sure a lot of people watching from the ground wonder what it must be like to be the pilot in one of these aircraft and these videos are the next best thing to being there.

Thanks so much for putting the videos on RU-vid. I could watch them all day. Please keep putting more of these types of videos on your site. The actual video quality is outstanding (1080p), and it just doesn't get any better than that.

Hey Dennis, I agree - it is incredible footage and one thing that makes it even more special for me is seeing my house below him at the 4.05 mark....the estate the RAAF display pilots use as a marker after passing the track! We watched this display from my backyard and could clearly see the pilot and the condensation/vapour trails etc as he did his manouvres to line the track up for the next pass. The sight/sound is brilliant...this video has been a real special find for me! Thanks to Aviation Spotters Online for sharing it all...absolutely stoked. Great quality. (Incidentally, every year I bore my mates who gather from all round Australia for the MotoGP and tell them I've organised an aerial display to celebrate them coming down...we've had the Roullettes, F-18, Hawk trainer...heh, the things I do for them!!)
