Shalom Mr Tovia, you said in your statement in Isaiah 53 that the gentiles now come to love the jews after seeing the atrocities the jews suffered during the Holocaust etc, so therefore they're healed from it..Well that's not quite true on my case, as a Christian from Nigeria i didn't come to love the jews because of their suffereing and the Holocaust (i didn't even know about the holocaust at my young age but already had the love of the jews and Israel inside me), but i came to love the jews because What God came to do in the office of The Christ 2000 yrs ago made me to love the jews knowing we're no more "aliens" to the promises that pertains to the true Israelites because we now believe on the same God Abraham, Isaac and Jacob believed in.

It’s very telling that when Christians site this verse they are indirectly disavowing the Jewish peoples’ suffering and bestowing it onto Jesus.

The suffering servant in Isaiah 53 cannot refer to Israel, described as sinless in that chapter. Ancient Israel was in a constant state of apostasy, and how could Israel save itself? Beyond that, the Messiah is prophesied to be from a specific tribe, since the records of tribes were destroyed in the Roman attack of 70AD, no Jew today knows what tribe they are from. Therefore, the Messiah must be someone who lived before that date.

It doesn't matter if there are chapter divisions that weren't in the original manuscript... even if you read the psalms, or other places in the OT, it's evident its switching from the writer speaking, to God speaking through them as the entire perspective of narration suddenly shifts... in Is. 3:3 from the KJV the underlying Hebrew for "man" from "man of sorrows" means, according to strongs, "a man as an individual or a male person" and thus cannot be refering to the nation of israel... and if you have any doubts about the accuracy of the KJV research the Isaiah scrolls of the dead sea scrolls.

The second half of Isaiah portrays Israel as the failed Servant of Jehovah. Some of the harshest criticisms of Israel's wickedness in the Bible is found in Isaiah. Against that, is another Servant Who is righteous enough to bear the sins of the world.He is called Israel, and yet is seen as being distinct from Israel, and alongside Israel. Rabbi, there are more Disciples of Yahshua that know more than Isaiah 53, like Isaiah 7:14(Virgin Born) (Called Immanuel), Isaiaha 9:1-7(Ministry in Galilee), Isaiah 53-3(Rejected by the Jews), as well as other Prophets. Micah 5:2 (Born in Bethlehem and Called the Ruler of Israel), Hosea 11:1 (Flight into Egypt), Jerimiah, 31 Vs 15 (to escape the massacre of the infants), Genesis 49:10 (Tribe of Judah), Zechariah, 11Vs12 (For thirty pcs of silver). For it is written "Salvation is of the Jews" Our Messiah is Hebrew, but as far as the Jews in the end will mourn. Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. The suffering servant of Isaiah 53 is clearly and specifically described in Isaiah 11, which Tovia interprets as Messianic! Rabbi, why don't you follow up with the verses after 8, stating they instead of He and if you continue it explains an individual person, baring the sin of many. For Yahshua was a Righteous person that only did the will of his Father YaH. It is heartbreaking that due to Caiaphas's Pride of being replaced as High Priest, had Yahshua crucified, despite a pagan Roman Governor knowing Caiaphas was envious and people today still believe Yahshua was not the Messiah, even after his proven Resurrection. The only Prophet that rose from the dead unto eternal life. You are twisting the God Head, Yahshua is the only begotten son, he feared his Father and did nothing, but the Fathers will, as he was filled with the Holy Spirit without measure.
