This makes me happy, most rabbits unfortunately only get to see a way too small cage, but this rabbit can be so active and probably has a more exciting life than me xD
Mackenzie B ... I'm wondering what "does not do well" in cars and leashes etc. .. If they do not mind it and they are not freaking out at the time.. Is there long term effects or you just mean at the time they are upset and stressed .. Just wondering and if they are happy and not struggling or stressed is it ok ?.. I know they could eat something or put someone in their mouths step on glass etc. but Dogs Cats etc. can do the same also.. If their temperament is good with this is it actually wrong ??..
Johtonian some breeds of cats like the beach, and the water. They enjoy digging in and running on the sand, but they can see it as a big fun litter box to them..
Visuaali But, it's a dogs body. Meaning that dogs would still exist. But, if dogs were just rabbits then there would be no such thing as dogs. They were all a myth. Meaning it's "It's a deformed rabbit". Not a rabbit in a dogs body. And, you said dogs are rabbits in dogs bodies. Then, what ere dogs? I think of rabbits as a cat and dog mixed together. They clean themselves like a cat. They scratch behind their ears with their hind legs like dogs. But, I think bunnies are much better than about any animal. Woah.. I went too far..Heh, oh well. Have a nice day!
For anyone bitching that this rabbit could've died, they don't die by water. If you throw a rabbit into water, and it's not prepared/fears water, it's going to die from a heart attack because of stress. This rabbit was NOT scared at all and was racing into the water.
IcyFlame That heart attack thing is WAY overblown. I literally see it in the comments section of every YT rabbit vid. What happens when a rabbid dog is chasing a rabbit? In that moment, the rabbit is literally at death's doorstep. Does it simply flop over and die if a heart attack? No, it turns around and runs for its life. Even if caught and in pain, a rabbit will continue to kick and bite as a last ditch effort to survive. If I had to guess, the rabbits who die from heart attacks are probably very young rabbits or very old rabbits, and even then, Id bet its a rare occurrence.
@@laibarao23 well its actually life or death for a rabbit....! They cant regulate their body heat/temperature and the way their fur is so thick/dense it takes so long to dry. They can get hypothermia or overheat very easy and very fast depending on the weather and/or the environment. So them getting wet could cause them to die if they aren't cared for immediately and properly..soooooooo it's not just something people say Sweetheart it's a matter of knowing how to properly care for a rabbit and keeping it alive.. so if it annoys you,so sorry for you but it's like saying your annoyed because someone said u have to feed a rabbit.. so maybe dont own a bunny
I was moved to tears by watching this. I had a mini Holland Lop named Totoro. I got him from our neighbors who were giving him away. He was the sweetest, most well behaved bunny ever. After a year from owning him, we come to find out that he had a wisdom tooth deformation... It grew up past his eye and almost into his skull. He died in the middle of surgery... Rest in peace Totoro ❤
That's so sad to hear. RIP TOTORO... I rescue allot of bunnies and most always sick or close to dying from malnutrition or neglect. My favorite bunny is a Holland lop I rescued from a breeder who was literally bred to the point of almost death... She was about three years old at the time and NEVER once been held by a hooman before. She is my super sweet baby girl right now. And she jumps LEAPS into my arms at the vets. She loves me as much as I absolutely LOVE HER pudgy widgy face.
Christina Swanson Well, if you're an irresponsible owner, sure. But if you train long enough, especially with a harness, & always have your attention on your bunny everything's fine.
And living in a cage is better? Good grief. According to youtube, bunnies simply existing is a health hazard- they can die from everything! Why not let your bunny live a little? If they are fine on the leash, then they can get some exercise and explore the world around them... as opposed to being forced into a little cage and only getting to hop around a small backyard in the city or something.
rarely was ever able to take my rabbit outside. got her when she was a baby, and we weren't prepared for it. so she's only ever been outside twice. it was hard taking care of her, she wasn't potty trained or anything-- so we weren't able to have her out all of the time. i knew it was best for us to just give her up, so we gave her to humane society and she's much happier, i think. i miss her, my little bun bun, but i'm glad she's able to go outside and play with other bunnies. when we took her outside, it couldn't be for long because we had no harness or anything-- she was terrified, absolutely terrified. she's stretch her entire body out to smell everything before taking a step, and she was shaking-- her eyes were wide open. i feel so bad, she should have been used to it.
Yieanna Licht idiot! This freak is afraid. He runs away to the water, because it is less evil, but he does not want to go there anyway. pathology. "Because it's cute
This Video hardly changed my view into animals That Rabbit was probely one of the first rabbits who saw a beach he and all his ancestors never saw somthing like that, he was so excited. If animals could speak Id be most interrested what he'd sad in those situations
Cris Garcia If it was in a safe place, as it ought to be, no danger can come... because like any good parent- you're supposed to keep it away from harm, so that that doesn't happen...get killed by 3 dogs.
I love rabbits so much. This is one of the best and cutest video what i've ever seen! I have a rabbit, but he's not that fearless like your rabbit, but he's cute! This video really puts smile on my face, but when i see hater comments, i'm kinda sad, because who can hate those cutest animals in the world!
They are unhappy, just like we would be, but they can't complain about it, and they contract strange habits, because it's nor normal when they want to be pettet the whole day long. And they need each other for cleaning their fur mutually.
I learned a lot about rabbits when I had to care for my friend Mucki (pronounce "mooky"), who once was exposed in the woods because he was sick. He never was really healthy, because these poor creatures are over-bred in order to match our own beauty ideal. It changed my philosophy to discover the rich inner life of such a tiny co-inhabitant...
Why is it in every small pet video there's always THOSE people in the comments who claim they know much more than you could possibly know about your pet and you're doing everything wrong
I am so AMAZED and happy. I wasn't sure how a bunny would like the beach? The sand, sun, ocean? But your little angel was all over it!! Letting the waves go underneath. Sooooo Fantastic!! Loved watching this so much!! Your bun bun is fearless!!
it's amazing how there are soooooooooooooooooo many rabbit experts on here that actually don't know a think about rabbits. I bet they don't even have a rabbit. they just looked something up on line and think they know everything about rabbits.
Jennifer Ross I would recommend not letting it into water. Very few rabbits enjoy being in water. This is rare. Most rabbits will go into shock from being in contact with water 😅
Spoiled rabbit! I bet he's seen worlds more in his life than the average rabbit that just gets to stare at cage bars forever. :) People think dogs are the only animals that enjoy getting out and seeing the world... but my cat loves it and I bet your bun does too :D
E R that couldn't be further from the truth. Those big powerful legs need daily exercise! Some rabbits even get depressed or get neurotic if left in a cage all the time. My little dude would be so mad at me if I didn't let him out to play!
This is fucking adorable. Hey, you should get a retractable leash. They make some that are a thin cord with a weak pull strength for tiny dogs. I bet your bubz would like using one. The little critter could run further from your side, but still be safely leashed.
Oh. Not to be rude, but people are gonna curse no matter what lol. If you tell them to be PG friendly, 9/10 you'll get hated on. :P Nontheless at least you tried lol
yuki cross I would always recommend that someone not get a bunny. Not that I don't love mine, I do, but most people would make lousy companions for a rabbit. They are prey animals, and because they are prey animals they are fundamentally different than, say, cats or dogs. If you bring a bunny into your life, you are taking on a huge responsibility for that life. Do your research first. Oh, and as the human, you are there to protect the bunny.
Minilop hands down, best rabbit family member. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they all loved like this one. They are so smart and loving and just die in cages. Thanks , this shows people they are so much more.
for anyone who thinks this is unhealthy i think its better this rabbit gets to go have fun for a shorter life 'and it probably will live a normal life' its still better than living a full life in a cage
He looks like he's having the time of his life! I hope you rinsed him with fresh water (even though they say not to but he's covered in salt) He is a new breed, pioneering the way....a trail-blazing bunny !!! 😎
I love how most are like "don't get the rabbit wet!" Do you see that bun? It seems to know EXACTLY where it's going so this must be a common thing. I'm sure the owner knows what they're doing.
Exactly! The bunny went over to the water themself, if they didn’t wanna be wet they would’ve stayed away from the water. Later in the video the bun actually tries to run deeper into the water but the owner holds it back bcuz it’s not safe. Ppl need to chill and stop picking apart every video of people’s pets
Some smart people are putting this video down , and yes there are health concerns with putting your bunny in water, But to anyone who says this is abuse, does the rabbit look sad or unhappy , Does this look like abuse to the naked eye?
EwwAlexx To be fair, rabbits don't normally like water. I hate the videos where people put their rabbits in pools to see them swim. However, this is different. Because it's the ocean, the rabbit could have run away and her mom would have followed, but the rabbit stayed. Animal senses are such that if she didn't like the salt water, she would have run. Rabbits can be emphatic about what they do not like, so that rabbit would not have just sat there as the water comes in. That said, rabbits are delicate and sensitive to temperature so her mom should have had a towel to dry her off. I wouldn't have let her just air dry. All in all though, the rabbit looks happy and healthy. I just hope her mom brings a towel the next time.
MrQWERTZ87 I think you misread or took what I wrote the wrong way. What I was writing about was this video ONLY. Having a bunny fall or be tossed town the stairs is abuse and you can see that with a naked eye.
It is a mini lop, but I wouldn't advise getting it wet in the future. Rabbits don't have much body heat and letting them dry on their own could cause them to get sick.
Delicate I believe wild rabbits have the instincts to know how to stay dry and/or how to stay warm. Domesticated rabbits on the other hand may not have an understanding of what getting wet does to them and their body heat. Different evolution with both.
Tyler Nowosielski I know because Rabbits do not die from getting wet. If that was the case tons of wild rabbits would of croaked everytime it rained. Y'all need to quit being so sensitive. You guys are acting like she brutally beaten the poor thing.
Sana Shaik I think they don't like that the rabbit is in the water which went in on its own and was having so much fun and because it was wearing a harness...which is kind of needed so the bun doesn't go off on it's own. In my opinion I thought it was really cute! 😊
Dan Evans but it can get into any animal lungs even us *thinking* (well their not made for the water... well crap I have nothing to suport my argument lol)
illegal soda fizz that's like saying, "people jump off of bridges all the time, sometimes people get hurt doing it.. wouldn't it be a good idea to let my rabbit jump off a bridge too?" No, it's just stupid.
meowgical unicorn wtf if the bunny wants to get wet let him get wet. There is no problem with letting him get wet as long as you dry him properly. Wild bunnys get wet too.
Jenny rabbits literally can die. If they get wet inside. Like if you give your rabbit a bath (even with warm water) they can get hypothermia because they can’t regulate their body temperature
Jenny yes you’re right but the thing about it is the change in temp can be a huge stressor for the rabbit but if the rabbits okay and it’s wanting to swim then I see no issue
I remember watching this video when I was 8, I had a wonderful bunny and this always made me emotional for some reason, it made me scared to lose her. She passed away due to Stais in February 2018.
