That explains why he was away for 3 days. He found out his uncle was dead and was shocked but later he couldn't except it and acted like it wasn't real. He was in denial
He feels like rabbit abandoned but he is not completely alone because in the end he does has someone and that is his gf. She is in the back of the car with him holding his hand and her fam is the one in the front driving.
Wtf... Who just shows their gf a corpse and tell her not to freak out? Aghhhhhhh 😲🙁 and he was her first time. That's a bad way to remember your first time.
It just breaks my heart when I see young people without a decent home life or any guidance to help them manage their world. Good video. Good acting. A tale of young adults struggling with little to no guidance.
Well, many MANY teenagers (or youngs, you prefer whatever you like to call them) don't have any thing close to 'decent' home. Mostly bc the world was built and is managed to be unfair about resources and quality of life The dream and idea of being billionaire is something that everyone dreams and wants but at what cost? Everything around the dreamer and who maintains this kind of system. "but this video isnt about money" right, isnt but the lack of money leads directly to lack of resources, lack of any treatment/help, be it mental, general health, education, leisure, self-improvement careers or even trips (trips shouldnt be something exclusive to rich/middle class people) anyway, the system is cursed but we dont have to be
Am I the only one that thought his secret was that he can bring animals and maybe humans back from the dead? And I honestly thought he was gonna bring his uncle back to life in front of her to show her his magical powers of necromancy.
Very sweet and touching, but a rabbit that size doesn't need his mother. I rescued three baby rabbits from the hawk that got their mother. I became their new mother. I nursed them until they were old enough to be on their own.
My theory is that his dad died of an overdose or something in his sleep. He left him there in that room because he loved him and didn't want him to go. That's his secret.
its his uncle but yeah your right, he wanted someone there to come home to. also when he was slamming the door he was hoping to see him awake again. its so sad
What do you do, what do you do? Too be totally left alone in this world... Not to many understand that part of the venture... in life! Thank God, that the older man did understand...along with the now orphaned, baby rabbit... That he was still just a young guy/kid, experiencing all of this... Just a young kid....
this is so...I don't know the right word....just so well done and meaningful. he's not alone anymore, just like the rabbit, he'll be looked after now. everything will be okay
I know the description tells us it was his uncle, but is there any place in the film itself where they explicitly tell us it was his uncle? Just curious because I completely missed that. I also thought he had killed the person in the bed, so I was very confused about that part. That being said, this was a beautiful film. It provoked a lot of emotion, and they painted the main character in an interesting light -- at first, you think he's somewhat of a delinquent, then when you discover his secret, you see him for the abandoned, hurt, lonely, scared child that he is. The girlfriend's father is a real blessing.
David Montes no it was Australian and it was filmed in the state of Victoria which is where I come from. One way I can tell is the number plate in the car is Victorian. And the food, drink at the milk bar was also Australian
@@caity16166 he knew he was dead but can't accept the reality of it. He's kind of opening and closing the door hoping it's a bad dream and when he opens it everything will be OK
"What have you lost?" Minutes later, "promise not the freak out okay?" Internally: I'm freaking out. I've lost everything. Girl friends dad: its okay you missed Saturday.
I know this has nothing to do with the video but that rabbit is full grown, it wouldn't have died without it's mother at all. You're not supposed to take wild animals as pets regardless. Also I really hope no animals were harmed in the making of this video.
Good point, that rabbit was a little larger than we'd have liked but it was the only one we could get at the time. The dead rabbit was road kill that came from a nearby farm.
Im pretty sure they couldn’t just get a hold of a wild rabbit, that rabbit was way to calm to have been from the wild lmao... it was obviously a rabbit from the pet store or something
Lola joyce idk man, seems like it needed to be longer than 15 minutes. Like I get that he died, but why did the kid tell his girlfriend about it? Did he know? I'm so confused
Thanks I looked back at the video and saw what your talking about, it makes much more sense now. And I agree with ageisang chacha that he showed his uncles body to his girlfriend because he thought that she would understand why he keepted the body and why he didn't tell anyone about it, like the rabbit he was an orphan but he refused to let got of his one remaining family. I recon him giving his girlfriend the necklace and showing her the body was him subconsciously staring to let go and accept that he has a new family. It just takes the police taking his uncle away to realise that he has other people who love him even though he still doesn't want really want his uncle to be gone his family with be there to help him pick up the pieces of him self and put them back together. I don't know if I'm right or wrong but that's the view I had from this video. Thanks for every one who helped me see what happen to the uncle
If you think about it they had to make both people want to pee at the same time and ofcourse they aren't going to pee at the same time so one of them had to wait for the other person to pee so he can finally pee and not hold it in XD
Does no one realize that the kid is in shock and denial? He has been living his life for 3 days holding onto an image that confuses and terrifies him. I don't believe the rabbit was supposed to have "come back to life" at all. I believe that the rabbit gave him the courage to reveal his secret. I also don't believe that it was the girls' 'first time', I think she was just teasing him and he knew it. Very well done all in all.
For your Information, this film is Australian made and based in Australia you can tell by the brands kirks and the Victorian license plates and no the actors aren't Russian
That was a really sad movie, I’m sorry but its just so sad that some people have to trough this (losing the only person they ever had) and also it’s so touching that there is people who are understanding, his girlfriend family could easily just side eye him but they didn’t, that was great movie
correct me if I'm wrong but how I understood it was the rabbit who died was a resembalance of the person who died in his life who he must've been very close too. Meanwhile the other baby rabbit is him (lost confused and scared).
I love bunnies 🐰 it softened the blow of such hard subjects regarding psychological defense (coping) mechanisms being utilized: denial and repression are hard at work here trying to protect his fragile fear of abandonment and separation anxiety.
He walked in on his uncle death that's why he kept closing the door like that and he thinks one day his uncle gone wake up his uncle was all he got so he trusted his girlfriend but she freaked out about it
Meme Lord I was just like this when mt grandma passed away while I was sleeping in bed with her and I woke up that morning I tried my best to wake her up when they came to pick her body up I kept telling them plz don't take her I didn't want her to go
koalalover 27 he kept a body in a room of his uncle and wanted to not let him go so he kept the body cause there's really no family left and the girl called the police and they came and took it
