@Ysamae Calma 2 same thing with my rats! I want to have an aesthetic and naruralistic set up, but their pee just gets soaked up by the wood and I don’t want them getting respiratory infections 😔
My bunnies would be over that fence in a snap. I have to build mine triple the height just to contain them when we need them safelty away. Most of the time they are free roam though, unless we're going to be away for a long time.
We have a dog corral gate thing that comes up about 3 feet high. My little neatherland dwarf jumped over that whilst being sick (she had a chronic condition, and sadly is no longer with us). Oliver can jump onto my bed too, so uh, always have to have something covering the top lmao
@@maddiewhatever441 Sorry to hear your little nethy isn't with you anymore. I also lost a little netherland dwarf a couple of years ago. They're surprisingly high jumpers! I say it's because they're compact, like a tightly wound bun-shaped spring :D My current buns are both cross breeds, but still on the small side, they can clear a baby gate with no problem at all!
I have an 8 year old Netherland Dwarf. She has been free roam since the age of 3 months. I have several hide boxes/ litter boxes for her but I do not have a "designated" bunny area. Instead, I have incorporated my area to fit her. I do all my craft projects and drawing on the floor so I can be on her level. I have made multiple entrances, escape routes, lounge areas and hiding areas all around my room. I actually decorate and plan my rooms around the bunny's needs. Man, guess I am owned too...🤣
Lol same I rearranged my entire studio and now she’s living her best life. My bunny decided she wanted to free roam and took it upon herself while I was at work & to my surprise she did very well 🥰

❤🐇 That's exactly how a bunny should live. ❤🐇 I adopted an 8 year-old Netherland Dwarf four months ago. He had spent his whole life since baby in a cage, with newspaper flooring, a small corner litter box, a small water bottle, no appropriate hiddy place, no chewing toys, eating only pellets and not even for his old age, he was not fed with hay or fresh veggies, he only picked him up to give him to small very screaming children for their entertainment even when the bunny seemed to be in pain due to the dental problems he developed for being fed the wrong diet. He was not neutered, never taken to the vet. He's a Avery easily scared bunny, and I am working on gaining his trust. He's now free to roam but he prefers to hide during the day and only comes out at night. I am giving him all I can to make his life better and I found this video because I'm looking for a bunny castle for him. I was so happy to read about your Netherland Dwarf. 🙂
you have a great setup. When I first got my bunny I didn't even have a water bowl haha. That was september 10th last year but now she has cost me more than my dog. She is worth it tho
Would love to see a litter box set up video! I like your hay racks was wondering were you found them? Looks very functional. Love your set up! Thanks for sharing. Bunnies are adorable 🥰 #goals
@@jenm1 she isn’t in a cage, she free roams, but sometimes we have guests over and we don’t want her to get stepped on, so we put up a pen in a room, but she jumps over that
She has an American accent. So, I don’t understand the “cossel” pronunciation. It sounds like the only word she saying with an Aussie accent. Dialect. Go figure. To each his own.
My mom learnt American English so my accent is a mix of Australian and American pronunciation 😂 believe it or not, I also had a New Zealand accent at some point since I was born there but that’s completely left my accent too xx
@@Katesque I didn't realise you had an "Austrailian" accent until I saw this comment lol, I hear it now that it's been mentioned but totally didn't realise it before that. wow.
Great ideas! I'm definitely going to look at a rug like that for my buns. I know someone who does woodwork so I may ask him to see if he'll commission something like their new house as well!
I have a big bunny and I used an old beer crate and took one of the pieces of wood of and put some fleece into it and she fits really well and loves it
I absolutely love your videos ! I moved in with my boyfriend a few months ago and I adopted my rabbit in january. It’s the second time I own a rabbit but this time I am alone to take care of it, without my mom around. Your videos really help and inspire me ! I want my bunny to be happy and live like yours do, and I can’t wait to have a bigger appartment to get her a friend 🥺 Keep up the good work ! ❤️
I have never found a video so relatable 😂 I changed my whole set up a month ago and bought a similiar castle from the same guy for my bun! Love your videos ❤️
It has become so beautiful! 💗 but there is nails sitcking out from both bridges, i think your bunnies may cut themselves...🤔 idk, but you still got a like from here!🐰💗
I like it that u r also giving advice to think about, sometimes people take bunnies because they are cute, but their is so much more that u have to know about them other than they are cute, for me it's still a learning proces I have 2 bunnies, and lots to learn but your videos help me a lot.
My rabbits aren't free roam (despite what everyone says, I have three bunnies with various different histories. They don't get along well), and I can relate to wanting to spoil them lmao. One is such a big baby that he literally wants to be held 24/7.
Not gonna lie, I came here for the bunny content cuz I have a bonded pair. I found your channel when I was looking for bonding advise. I subscribed though cuz you’re so cute cuz of your Australian accent. It’s so attractive to hear 😅
Does the company ship anywhere else than Australia im trying to find one locally but i live in an area where no one cares for bunnies more just cats and dogs
This was so funny holy cow. I felt this spiritually. I didn’t realise you were Australian. I’m moving to an apartment and I felt that hating yourself part for their depressing area. But the laugh had me dead.
Omg it is a total desert here for bunny supplies. I’ve wanted a castle for ages I can’t wait to check out the shop you found. I’ve found some cute stuff at Kellyville Pets and One Stop Bunny Shop. And I’ve started flowers & herbs for them to eat.🐰💖✨
RU-vid algorithm brought me to this channel and I'm really glad it did. We have a four year old harlequin lop house bunny called Bean (she looks a bit like Cookie I think?) and she's a handful. She recently became free roam about 80% of the time and she seems a lot happier because of it. Looking forward to more videos from you 🐰🐰🐰💕
This is amazing. I’m about to move so looking at doing my bunny home up to look more aesthetically pleasing so thank you for this video. I also live in Australia so it’s nice to find out more bunny stuff makers around here because I think we have so little stuff to choose from sometimes unlike America and the uk
I literally just said to my husband today that I had a fleece rug for the bunny's floor but I wasn't sure it'd be enough traction so i might need to get a rug. Then I watch this video and you say the exact same thing. Thanks. Guess I'm getting that rug. 🙂
I wish my rabbit setup was this aesthetically pleasing😭😅 lmfao when we move I’m gonna give my rabbit a whole room instead of a x pen and free roam time:) I really like this idea!
I ordered mine a cpl weeks ago I'm so excited for it to get here I live in the US so it's taking longer I want it to come now lol. I love yours with the bottom I didn't see that one I got two of the 4 towers two bridges and a tunnel but it doesn't have the bottom tunnel like yours. It looks so nice has it still held up now that it's 2 yrs later? I love your videos and bunnies ❤️😍

I have a tiny rabbit and I really want to do a little makeover for him too. Thanks for the links of all the products!
Omg this is exactly me. Ive been wanting a bunny castle but seeing ones overseas with rabbit cut outs I was so disappointed not to find the same cute design here. Seeing you have it and I know where from is great news now I can finally do this upgrade too!!! It looks awesome in your bunny area and my bunny is the same she prefers the security of her designated space especially if I'm out for awhile.
I am sooo jealous that your bunnies don’t jump over that tiny fence !!! I have one twice that size and my Holland lop will still climb and jump it lmfao
omg thank you so much for this! I've been looking for something like this for my bun for so long and now i can try and convince my bf to let me order this when we get our own place. 😆
Hi! I’ve been considering to get a pet rabbit and your vlogs really do help me to think wisely. I was wondering where you got the wooden floor that kinda looks like a sand box😅
Wauw its great. My bunny's also are free roaming but stil have their own place. They love their own stuff. But I really have to start invest in a better rug/carpet. You have won me over with this video. Thanks 💕
Well, I dig you have a wooden base pad panel to protect your floor...at first I thought you didn't have litter boxes but noticed them in the back near the hay. I'm kind of biased towards covered liter boxes to give them the absolute dark hidey place to do their business in. The metal grid panels seem a bit short, I feel like they can easily jump out if they wanted to. Other than that, I like that you supported a local craftsmen.
Where did you find that rug? & also do you know if it’s safe for bunnies to chew on? My bunny always chews rugs so I was trying to find one that wouldn’t be harmful to him
@kat_esque I really like how you have a wooden base for your bunny pen! I am struggling to find a rug or something to go underneath my bunnies play pen-where did you find yours? :)
