The report reads: Following the Race, the Stewards imposed a Fine of $1,500 and a further Penalty of the Loss of 30 Teams Championship Points on Triple Eight Race Engineering for an Incident in the Pit Lane during the Race when Car 97 was dropped and released by the Car Controller when the wheel gun was still attached to the right rear wheel in breach of Rule D11.7.3

Typical Redbull behaviour. Broc: he just punted me off the track Race Eng: I know, I know sorry buddy. No flicking accountability for the fact he had an overlap and Broc did what SVG has done in the past: tried to squeeze the door shut well after the last second and when he gets punted goes whining to race control. Man Redbull if you can't take it don't dish it out to other drivers.

Completely BS penalty for Reynolds. He had half a car length underneath Brock, and Brock proceeded to completely ignore his existence.

would just like to shed some light to the battle between Brock Feney and Chaz Mostert, ive been watching the sport from very young and love to see a tough battle, sad to see Mostert penalized but I can understand the reasoning and well done to Feney for holding his nerves. Great racing by both drivers

Hmm…Feeney turns down on Reynolds who has an overlap and Reynolds is penalised 15 seconds, Mostert turns down on Feeney who has an overlap and Mostert gets a bad sportsmanship flag when Feeney could have lifted instead of driving dangerously off track, in Reynolds case he had nowhere to go other than the apex of the corner.

How was SVGs pitstop not a penalty??? Wheels still being done up when dropped on the deck *Edit* This was posted before T8 copped a points penalty post race

With all these complaints in the comment section it feels like part of the F1 fambase migrated over here. Guys, the stewards are human, they make mistakes like everyone else. Trust me, this is a lot better than NASCAR officiating, F1 Stewards, NFL Officials, heck I'd argue these guys are top tier. And please shut up about "Red Bull Bias" when they were penalized at Newcastle with disqualification for having their ventinf hose on when it was disallowed and were docked 30 points for the pitstop mishap this race.

SUPERCARS OPERATIONS MANUAL 2023 DIVISION “D” - SPORTING RULES D11.7 Use of Equipment/Tools 11.7.3 Each Car must be completely free of all hoses, tools, Team Members and any other equipment at any time whilst the Car is moving. The breach was clear at the time of the incident and should have been an in race penalty because the driver got a sporting advantage by not completing the pitstop correctly iaw SUPERCARS OPERATIONS MANUAL 2023 DIVISION “D” - SPORTING RULES, as well as the fine for a breach of safety ie WHS regulations. Typically teams are penalised for Technical Regulations/Rule breaches and Driver are penalised for breaches of Sporting Regulations/Rules
