Same! I was looking forward for them to reach season 6 and its finally here :D

Season 6 best season? Hmm maybe for me it’s season 4

It’s because every season more and more of the queens that were coming on the show were direct products of the show and less of them were pre- Drag Race. They come on and try to produce themselves thinking they “cracked the code” instead of acting natural. Plus it turned into more of a “who can gag us with a designer look or an extravagant reveal” competition. Even the producers now are more focused on shock value then they were in season six. The challenges now are uninspired (save for the rare good one or two), the judging is even more questionable at times and the weekly placements and eliminations seem contrived like they already know who they want in the top 4. There’s no sense of authenticity anymore from the show. Like you know if two queens get into a rivalry or get really close, they’re going to be in the bottom at some point for stakes and storylines. I mean Dela and Darienne were thrown into the bottom together twice in season 6 but at least it had some sense of justification based on how they performed in those challenges in comparison to the others. Plus they don’t let the queens choose their own partners for challenges anymore. Tamisha and Kandy got into a fight in Untucked, they were put together for the next challenge and thrown into the bottom together. Not to mention that we’ve been inundated with a heavy rotation of US Drag Race/All Stars seasons for almost three years now. We as viewers don’t get that six to eight months of room to breathe in between US seasons anymore. Overall, Drag Race US has become way too commercialized and manufactured.

@@husamelzien5738 the show feels too juvenile and vacuous, i prefer the more mature personalities and tone of season 2 to 4, 5 and 6 were just fun

I'd say season 8 was the last "great season," though I love season 9 as well.

I feel like all stars 2 is a great season, if not the best!
