At this rate i am way better off jumping between the live onboards directly from the teams to get a better idea on whats going on in the race than watching the actual commentators and official feeds, Eurosport ruins everything they touches & 2 minute recaps after 6 hours? What the heck is this?

Genuinely don't understand why they didn't just use their own F1 V6 as a starting point. It was such a hairbrained idea, Mecachrome have a terrible reputation precisely because of this crappy engine

@@hello_alpine1693 F1 engine would be too extreme and costly for this hypercar class, and it's not like alpine's f1 engine is much more reliable anyways. One idea is to apply twin turbos to the zytek 3.4 v8 of the formula renault 3.5. Another idea is to use Nissan engines because Renault is always tied with Nissan even down to motorsports. Either Twin Turbo Nissan VQ which was also used on older F Renault 3.5, or the good ol' vr38dett, or the vk45.

@@dy7296 Honestly, using the VR38 would be a genius idea, I'm not sure why I hadn't thought of that. Certainly more reliable than the V634, probably would sound more distinct too

@@hello_alpine1693 mhm. And it's no new idea either. There's the Ligier Nissan DPi in IMSA 2017-2019 with 4 wins to record uses a too. However, alpine might need to redesign the engine a little to have no traditional engine starter (because the gearbox built-in mguk already does the job) and billet block so it's lighter. Though it's not like other teams didn't do the same.

as an f1 fan whos not really into endurance racing it was hilarious to see kvyat doing what he does best in a different series. i forgot that he switched to endurace so that was a suprise. lol.

Any F1 fan would know that Vettel literally just tried to blame Kvyat for his own mistake of crashing into Räikkönen, his teammate. It's so sad that that stuck on with DTS viewers like you, and Vettel was never called out on crashing into his teammate like the 100th time there...

@@twodollarbills6287 Torpedo? For example in the Chinese GP he got called ''torpedo'' by a Karen-Vettel who crashed into his own teammate, he was in full control of his care. Imagine actually thinking it's wrong to arrive as fast to a corner as possible, and go through a corner as fast as possible, while being in full control of your car. One would think they all try to do that, as they are literally racing.

Mick was going well in his stint in the Alpine, took over the car in P21, raced up to P11. After he pit to change driver they were still P16, so 5 places gained in his stint. Solid showing.

Well done hand picking one short moment in the race when he hadn't pitted while others pitted, that got him few positions and claiming he ''made it to P11'' :DDDD The delusions are real. He started 16th/17th and finished there, even though he gained positions from other cars having some problems. He basically lost positions on track. It's just laughable how you people hype him up as some ''amazing driver doing an unheard of performance'' while Shwartzman fought for the lead under huge pressure from the experienced drivers. If his name wasn't ''Schumacher'' he wouldn't be this hyped up, and he would've never got this far. He would be like his cousin, crashing in DTM and losing his seat there.

@@amsro9094 No he didn't. But keep inventing, and making excuses for him. Without the name, he wouldn't even be in LM24h. At least he got saved from the embarrassment of crashing, although I do believe they weren't even planning to let him drive during night time. :D He will finish near the back in WEC and hopefully be gone from any top series as he doesn't belong in them.

@@amsro9094 He literally just paid for the seat though. Barely any of the actual talents used their names in junior karting because it makes no difference there. In formulas he started using his name and money though, which is why he got special treatment at Prema like Shwartzman did. They were nowhere in F3 for example until the mid season when they started switching engines and suddenly they were winning everything while the other Prema drivers who were doing well before, were nowehere anymore, like Zhou. He doesn't deserve a seat anywhere in the top series, proven once again in WEC:

And the Ferrari with the number 83 got a well-deserved 30 seconds of stop and go, I wanted that because the action that Robert KUBICA did wasn't really good and so Toyota is in the lead. Hopefully they keep it. Because Ferrari can't win Le Mans any other way than by eliminating competitors.
