Sears was a statue the whole race. Basically a perfect performance by the horse, and Sears never moved aside from glancing to his right four times. This is the model race for a trotter, possibly of all-time. Professional and spectacular all in one. Pure.

1:50 1/5 ? Are you kidding me? This would be a respectable time for an older, mid-class pacer @ Meadowlands. But , these are BABY TROTTERS! Most Standardbreds (whether they're pacers or trotters) wont even get the hang of this until they're 4 or 5 years old. This horse is going to make a lot of money during and after his racing career.
Ron Pierce said he could have beat Muscle Hill with Donato Hanover. Donato Hanover did not have the speed Muscle Hill had. Donato Lost many times Muscle Hill never lost and he was never under pressure. Donato raced a weak group of 3 year old trotters that year. Muscle Hill is in the conversation with Mack Lobell, Moni Maker, Sebastian K, Be a magician. I don't think Donato was better than Deweycheatemanhow. Now on to there production as a sire. Muscle Hill by far and away is better. Donato not close he is in the top 10 trotting studs but not like Muscle Hill. Deweycheatanhow was a total flop his stud fee will be less than $4000 in a couple years
