Today, we're diving into my awesome SSTE from Hobao, as we strive to build the ultimate tough basher. Recently, a good friend surprised me with an unexpected gift - a steering upgrade for the truck, courtesy of Hobao's 7075 Steering Knuckles, part number OP-0002. In this video, I'll walk you through the upgrade, demonstrating how to install it and highlighting the benefits it brings to the SSTE's performance

Nice upgrade! I always like to strengthen my front hubs and carriers as well as tighten up the steering! Probably gonna look to do something similar on my Kraton 4s v2.5!

You should! Yes im a big fan of upgrading if you can . make your truck your own sort of thing . the more we drive them the little things we find that could do with a upgrade hey . Stay awesome buddy Chris :)

I've really enojyed the build series for this car, i've recently built one up for racing so your videos have been really useful cheers! I've been looking for some option parts so nice one for the link for hubs. I'm trying to hunt down some of the hoabo wheel hex extenders, any chance you can find a link or let me know where they were from please? Cheap ones just don't cut it they're too loose with machining tolerances. keep up the great work :)

@@ChriswithaCrc thanks so much for the thorough and detailed reply i really appreciate it :) I bought the truggy to compete with much more expensive trucks at my local track and your build series has really helped me get her setup a littler better. i'm kinda new to the hobby and to racing so still a lot for me to learn. First race of the season was on sunday and I qualified in the bottom group, but i did go on to win both heats and then the small final so i was pretty chuffed with that! Made myself some slighty thicker (3mm) anti-roll bars with some piano wire and they seem to be doing the trick nicely.
