318willrun.moz... my-store-10053... Ford, Chevy, Dodge, or even a Volkswagen! Let's line them up and say "Go"! @HoosierGarage @nickthevanman9011 @that_VAN_Guy
This is awesome! We have a couple of vans and not sure how we could make it happen, but we love the fun with you and your wife against each other could maybe do something like that, also. We will be a part of this! Sweet merch and great content!
Yes Tim this has been around for a long time...lets see you lower a mopar van and pull 2g's on the skid pad!.... Well atleast .80g's Djaban!... Vantron unite!!... Van whats it good for....War that's what a Van is good for!
I'll race ya! I got 86 250 long wheel base maxivan. 318 10/1 compression long tube headers with magnum heads on a 1975 block with stiff valve springs and a solid flat tappet.
My Yellowsubmarine is a total packageYH3 the 340 gets 14 mpg has a good bed to sleep on and it’s run 9.90s in the 1/8 I think that’s pretty good for 4600lbs brick
You can drag race just about anything, and I almost have. My current drag racer is a V8 powered 1993 Chevy S-10 pickup, and it is actually my favorite to date. My last drag racer was a 1972 Ford Maverick a few years ago, and the S-10 is easier to handle.
I agree vans are the last fronteer for vintage/affordable but going more modern like a dakota? Dakotas are the dusters of the 90s! Also dont be skert to pick up a cheap late model magnum/300/chally/charger with a blown up hemi or v6 and drop a carbed 440 in it. Ilk do this one day prob next few years.
You were sure lucky finding those Dodge vans at Walmart. I check everywhere I see Hot Wheels and never find any. I am looking for the newer ones they have out as I have a 96.
In 2015, I told my nurses co-workers that I was getting a 7 places Mustang. They were all talking about there dream cars and everyone knows women loves Mustangs. I bought my 4th Straight Dodge Grand Caravan. But beeing use to drive a 150hp 3.0 and 3.3L with 3 speed OD transmission switching to a 283hp 3.5L 6 speeds was feeling like getting in a Mustang. Sounds more like a F1 shifting to me. Lol. I know it's not a Ram Vam, but it count as a Dodge Van right? Lol. 2 months ago I scored 75' Plymouth Valiant Brougham slant-6. It need bodywork and work on suspension and brakes. It was parked for 5..6 years. What can you get for 1500$ CAD. Around 1100$ US. Running around the yard fine so far. Very happy with it and yes I want to swap a gen.3 hemi. But no. At least a 318ci? No! That slant-6 runs fine with only 60k miles, or 160? 260? Cant tell from odometer, but i checked cylinders pressure all at 130 except #5 120psi. Its should last another 50 years. I gotta consider swapping all the suspension and that small 7.5" differential. Lol Getting older I need to consider that my girls will inherit all my cars and wont be able to afford gas with a 8-10mpg cars like my Pontiac Starchief Executive 389ci 4bbl 325hp-425fp/torque. I aint ready for the EV stuff and sure dont want to see my girls burn in one. Always a pleasure to watch you videos or read older 2000's messages on car sites blogs. Ps. I forgot to mention I love drag racing and that slant-6 is gonna hit the track asap. I consider im gonna have 10 more secondes then the hemis on the track. That means 10 sec of more fun. Hahaha
Your right muscle cars are just way to expensive even the aussie ones that's why partly I picked up 2 1930 Plymouths and I do especially love the 30s eara
I'm going with later models converted to carbureted V8s. I'm also leaning more toward trucks. Any 1930s cars in my area are going to be crazy expensive unless they are a complete pile of rust
Any tips on getting a 1990 obd1 318 tbi to throw a bit more fuel down its gullet without throwing a sniper on it only ever worked on older carbureted engines and obd2 engines this is a bit of an oddball to me no idea how to mod it without converting it to one way or the other
@318willrun appreciate it really limited info on these early tbis available this thing is a learning experience may end up breaking down and throwing a sniper on it in the end its in a 3/4 ton maxi van so it definitely needs some more power just to improve drivability
Vans dont weigh as much as peaple think and they are prob the stiffest body in existence as mopars are unibody. Move the eng to the middle, lower it, lbs reduction, sway bars, and go hurt feelings in time attack or a road course.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aszvkbSk7es.html Think you might find this video entertaining, a pick up from Estonia. The van in a couple of clips has got a 360 and has run 12.6 in the 1/4.

@@loydhicks3413 I would use the video in some way in the future, as I have actually done a video once dedicated to the viewers cars. I will say, I may edit to make it viewer friendly as possible. But, I plan at some point to present some of the viewers van in this "Van Warz" series
