I've been waiting for you to upload this for a while. This might be the best 997 Carrera S video because its a rare helmet cam POV. For some reason 997 Carrera S owners dont make the greatest youtube videos.

Great driving / sounding car. Love the interior of the 997, especially the steering wheel. Here's something a race driver told me once: Don't move your hands on the wheel as you turn. If you need to turn the wheel more, just drive faster.

997 engines were last of the true Porsche engines. Now they are just VW's.

schönes Video! hab mir gestern 997.1 carrera S mit 355PS gekauft. Hast du Tipps, wie man Motorschaden verhindern kann? (zB 10W60 ?)

Warm fahren und Ölstand beachten. Allgemein pflegen, dann halten die doch gut. 0W40 wird in dem gezeigten Porsche gefahren. Hatten damit bisher null Probleme. Fährt allerdings hauptsächlich Landstraße

@@avinii ja, da hab ich es besser. wohne nur 20km von cartronic entfernt. mein porsche meister von porsche bensberg kennt die ausarbeitung von cartronic, widerspricht dieser auch nicht. er meint aber, ich solle mich nicht verrückt machen, wenn man den motor nicht stresst. auf mobile habe ich mir viele 911er dieser baureihe angeschaut und nur ca 5-10% hatte 'mal eine Motorrevision gebraucht. ich drück uns die daumen 👍

Why is the driver changing gears from 5th to 6th and then back to 5th all the time??? For sound effects? I have the same car, a 2008 Carrera S, I wouldn't do this! If you love your car you don't abuse it.
