Love it when the "villain" is more charismatic and likeable than the "protagonist"

Zegler gives off this "I deserve this role more then anyone else vibe" and the fact she has 0 good to say about the original is disgusting that she even got the part

Notice how Gal Gadot talks about how honored she is to play this role and to re-tell the classic story that she loves. All Rachel wants to talk about is how awful the old one is and how much she hated it. How many flops is it gonna take for disney to realize that they are about to go bankrupt.

i don’t get this new reimagining at all. why do they feel the need to entirely change her character? sure she could become a good leader because of her kindness, but it was never even stated in the original film that she wanted to be a leader. she wanted love. what i think that they could’ve done is giving Snow White and the prince more scenes together so that they could already have a real relationship when the prince has to save her. because that is what it’s about. it’s not a weakness to get help from people, specifically from a man in this case.

you can absolutely tell Gal is really interested in her role. She loved the movie since she was younger, watched it many times and the way she talks, you know she is ready to play the role and OVERALL does not bash the movie. But Rachel keeps saying bad things about it as if it's not the first Disney movie ever made AND the role she's playing.... what a shame..

I love how Gal Gadot stays almost completely silent for half the interview watching how Raichel destroys herself. I mean, she's like, "holy shit, this girl is really troublesome, what the hell did I get myself into?"

Y’all Snow White was actually the first Disney film I ever watched I always got terrified by the dark forest scene cause I’m like no and then next came the evil queens transformation oh hell no and then going on the ride when it was completely dark at Disneyland in 2005 I was scared but I do rewatch Snow White at times but that forest scene if I was her I would have run and not opening my eyes seeing anything

If you don't MEAN "fairest" don't SAY "FAIREST". But, apparently they don't have the balls to go that far and actually change the word because then they would have to change her stepmother's entire reason for trying to off her in the first place, which means IT'S NOT "SNOW WHITE" anymore but you don't have the talent to write an entirely NEW story based on your premise of being "just" and a "fantastic leader" that doesn't want love. Because the message of being a beautiful person and finding true love have no place in society anymore. Oh, but that don't see Ms. Zegler practicing what she's preaching. Why hasn't she ended her relationship and called off any search for love for the rest of her life? I think a lot of boyfriends would be pretty pissed if their girlfriend told the world she doesn't think love matters. BTW, did anyone bother to tell these women that "Snow White" isn't actually her REAL name. It's what the dwarves called her while she was unconscious, you know, because her skin was "white as snow"? That NEVER came up?

This is where the woke has gone to far. Proper casting please! When we ask for representation, we didn't mean to say make snow white character for colored. We mean make more colored characters in Hollywood

My feelings about this remake and Rachel Zegler are all over the place. I will say that the role should’ve been given to an actress who actually respects Snow White’s original character because understanding the character your playing is key in order to have a good performance. Rachel doesn’t even have to like Snow White’s original soft spoken,kind, romantic, and introverted personality, but still respect her. I do understand why Rachel would take the role even though she doesn’t like Snow White.I would play any character I saw as annoying in a heartbeat if it meant I was going to get a Disney paycheck. With that being said,too many people are hating on Rachel because of the character changes that being made by writers and the creative team.It’s not Rachel’s fault that this remake is going to drastically changed Snow White’s character. It’s the writers and the businessmen fault.People think that the only way to empower Disney princesses is to make them be girlbosses.I will blame this on the fact that America does have this weird toxic extrovert alpha ideal where acting such as I described is the only way you can ever be seen with respect in this country.If you’re kind, quiet, sensitive, then you’ll be seen as someone with a “problematic condition” that needs to get “treatment.” As a result of this so many of these modern remakes are changing the princesses’s attitudes in hopes of making millions only to then make princesses who are different and seem a bit corporate made. Whenever Disney does a remake they should be making other corrections by making the story more culturally and historically accurate.Or in other cases, change more other values critiques of the original story.As a fan, I’m seeing more people being pissed that Rachel is Latina than the fact that Snow White does have flaws like an inappropriate age gap and ageism. As for people hating on this new Snow White being played by a Latina, y’all are annoying.There’s a lot of Latinas who are white or do have German ancestry who are white and pale. I don't understand all the hate for Rachel Zegler. I love the original too but other people are still allowed to have criticisms of it. It makes me more excited to see her interpretation of the role because it means she's planning to show us a different version of the character, making it more likely the film will have something new to say. So many of these remakes are too close to their originals to justify themselves, so I'm seeing this as a good sign.

Why did Disney close Snow White? In the ride, guests are put into Snow White's point of view as they travel through frightening scenes from the animated film. From the Evil Queen to several replicas of the witch from the film, the ride was so scary that it was closed in 1994 for redesign to have a more child-friendly tone. Wasn't Rachel born in 2001?
