Difficilissimo dare una risposta x un concerto così famoso e difficile in cui tutti vogliono cimentarsi sicuramente x farlo benissimo non serve prettamente E solamente l'estremo virtuosismo anche perché fosse così i vincitori sarebbero Lang e yuda ,quindi siccome x me non sono loro i migliori,la lotta è tra lugaski e sokolov , lugaski è grande interprete di tutto rach per una perfetta miscela tra espressione e virtuosismo,ma forse in questo particolare e famoso concerto la spunta sokolov x un pochino maggiore intensità 🎉🎉🎉🎉 stremo virtu

It's worth watching the video of Alicia de Larrocha playing this concerto (on RU-vid). I think she does the coda (and the entire piece) the best. (By the way, she adds some notes to this coda and it works really well).

Federova’s memory lapse should eliminate her from this comparison.. besides, Kissin is incomparable as to the 2nd.

Clearly some bias in this compilation- only the composer is given license to carry it to those final four beats “rach-mann-in-off”

Ah.. someone else who hears the composer’s name at the ending of this, and the 3rd. The 4th is tricky, as the accent falls on the Rach.. the tonic chord beat 1… not beat 2 as normally.
