Thanks guys, always enjoy your show.Never seen a Petty yet that isn't a nice person. The Show that Richard and Dale has is great,I sit there and am just hypnotized by the Greatness of Stockcar Racing ,together since they were babies, and 8 decades later still hanging tough, analyzing the Cup race. It's as good as it gets.
My husband, David, and I were in your neck of the woods last week. We toured the museum then walked around town and ate at Betty’s Kitchen. We enjoyed ourselves so much! We will definitely be back! Last night we watched Stories with Sharon and Kyle and got a kick out of the story about Timmy and Lisa not getting on the school bus and walking to the beauty shop! We want to hear Timmy’s side of the story!😂 By the way, we’re your newest subscribers!
Since I live in tx loved your story I went to an arcade race there in the 70s which AJ won but what I remember most was the announcer that day said fans watch this guy in car so and so he is a nascar rookie but he will be somebody someday, Big E was the driver, he did put on a heck of a show. Love your stories guys Thank You.
Before Texas Motor Speedway, Texas World Speedway hosted NASCAR races in the late '60s and early '70s, but NASCAR didn't go back until 1979 and the last ever race for NASCAR at that track was 1981 that was won by Benny Parsons. NASCAR wouldn't be back to Texas until 1997. The King won there 3 times, Bobby Isaac won the first race, Buddy Baker won a race, Darrell Waltrip won there, Cale Yarborough won a race there. But people don't know TWS existed.
Enjoy your RU-vid! It was great to meet Mark on Tuesday at the museum. You were carrying the water bottle. Would love to see the chiefs pit some day. Look forward to your RU-vid weekly!😂😂
Kyle ran yellow paint on the nose of his STP Buick during the 1981 race. My understanding is the yellow was to help the crew distinguish between Kyle's 42 and Richard's 43. One crew serviced both cars. The other crew went on to Riverside for the race the following weekend.
