The annual 12 hours of Santos was back in 2022 after some COVID disruption, and it didn't disappoint. We had a surprise addition to our 4 man team which made the event even better!

I like the format! I raced the 3 hr solo, but would enjoy doing a relay. Saw you there, must introduce myself. Also friends and fam can really get a sense of the event like this. Nice job!

WOW, 2nd place with a big mechanical means you had an excellent team, impressive, i hope they gave a little trophy or some tee shirts? I sold stock X 1900 wheels and cassette already from my new Niner hardtail, XO crank and cassette coming, with all the upgrades i should drop 1000 grams or over 2 pounds expecting about 20.5 finished meaning even a 66 year old man will be flying on suitable trails

Thank you for the videos you post. Very helpful. Do you switch saddles for marathon races? I have done 50 mile rides like santos but want to explore more events like big frog 65. It’s logical to me but counter intuitive. Like switch a pair of shoes.

Great video Clint and looks like a cool race format. Did you do any laps on the Spur and if so how did the times compare?

Actually did not use the Spur because we ended up being more competitive, and I wanted to be as fast as I could. But I have a feeling it would have been about a minute slower.

Out of curiosity… if you had a spare bike… why didn’t you pull the derailleur off it and run it on Tyler’s bike? Or am I missing something haha

I'm 5'8" and Tyler is well over 6 feet. It was an option but he was able to borrow a bike from someone taller. And the bike that he borrowed was more of a race bike.

This video was great! Awesome coverage and editing. Makes me stoked for spring! I suppose the bike has to finish with the rider? You can’t ditch the bike and run it out and go back for it later?
