it's on purpose to demonstrate that there are multiple ways you can get these things aligned and fastened

You can use precise needle rollers and magnetise them with a magnet. This is how we proceed, special magnetic pins are not necessary.

For the Innovative Assembly method “INIRA” we have a special tool to adjust the rack joint. In case of the standard assembly we recommend to adjust the rack with cooper stick and hammer.
