Would you still buy the Radar 115? I'm considering it over the 135. It seems short enough to play in little rivers but big enough with the pedal drive to use on lakes. What would you recommend?
@@coylehman Thanks so much, I appreciate the reply. There is one coming available to get delivered close to me and I think I'm going to buy it. Can't wait.
Very thorough and great video as always! I did notice your seat was adjusted all the way forward and you said you were 5'6, I'm 5'4 do you think I will have a problem reaching the pedals. Little worried now lol
R.Clardy my cart only works if it's just ahead of the rear storage area or back further. Or you can put it up towards the front. They are just too wide in the middle.
How does this boat compare to the Radar 135 as far as paddling goes? Ive rented the 135 and love it, I can stand and fish, paddles good. But like you say in your video I move forward quite a bit to peddle and then have tons of space behind me and its hard to reach my crate, think I should go with smaller boat?
DAVID BUNCH - basically the cockpit is the same on both boats. The difference in length is a longer nose and rear. I haven't ever paddled the 135. The 115 paddles very Good, no complaints, but logic would tell me that the 135 would be faster. I am only 5'-6", reaching the rear of my crate is sometimes a stretch when my seat is all the way up, but I can do it, no problem.
How far down does the prop stick out of the bottom? Is there a suggested depth for operating the pedal drive in? I can not find the info anywhere. Thanks!
J Rob - I have to pop the drive up when in get down to about 1.5ft of water showing on my fish finder. If you are fishing in current, like a river, I would bring it up a bit sooner so you don't end up drifting into something.
