There's a round one and there's a another round one but it's shaped differently a hugs the lip of the nozzle for the radiator when you move the reservoir sometimes it leaks a little bit but when you put it back in place it stops leaking
Just make sure the clip is fully seated. You can try lubing the inside oring to help too. Use one hand to hold down the hose really firm, and use the other hand to clip it in. Once you think its clicked in, try pulling it off and see if it comes lose. Good Luck!
@@biggirlsgarage8331 about to try some lube. I appreciate the reply. Blew off on the test drive, but made it back into my garage driving half a mile at a time, reattaching the tube and refilling with some water. Should’ve definitely watched your video before it happened…
Hi my name is Steve I am doing the same thing I replaced the reservoir the radiator Reservoir and there's two black rings that goes to the water hose that connects to the radiator which one I don't know which one will go first
Probably not the bmw way...but trying to put the expansion tank on after the radiator is in the car with the bracket attached is a PIA. WITH some finagling you should attach the bracket to the expansion tank and wiggle it in..otherwise you probably wont be able to seat the expansion tank with enough force to seat it...I had to coax mine onto the bracket with a rubber hammer...gently.thats my experience anyhow.
I just replaced my radiator but it’s still leaking from the bottom whole from where the whole is under the screw on the mounting plate that how can I get it to stop leaking
I was looking at that today and was thinking there was supposed to be an oring in the groove where that bracket mounts (the big hole).I could be wrong but it looks like there should be one there...
