Well the 454 "Ratrod Engine" ended up in the "FREAKINEAGLE". It will make a sweet cruiser that runs on 87 Octane gas. It will be for sale. You can inbox me for details. It is a 454 with a .520 Comp Cams "Thumper Cam". 400 trans with hard hitting "shift kit". 12-bolt Nova rear with 4:10 gears. Spool. Southside Machine Traction Bars and THEY WORK! 90-10 Comp Shocks in front and 70-30 Comp shocks in rear.Weld Wheels front and rear. Rear tires are Hoosiers..28x14.5x15

Thanks Paul, I am sure they make the kit. I found out the reason this "thumper" sounds so good is that I actually have the BMT..BIG MOTHER THUMPER. I did not know that until my Son looked on the box because he could not believe the sound it was making for just a Thumper.

Hi HotRod , they call me the same lol. I am actually after a set of he dash plastics, cluster without GUAGES, glovebox and glove box outer panel, i don't care about COLOR , i just want them straight with no cracks. P.s the only motor that won't fit is a 455 Buick motor, i tried. Ended up doing a 350 chev, then 351 Windsor with 302 Windsor with 2" adaptor plates, hot stuff for early 80's, 500hp main driver. Now I have just purchased 290 amc hornet 4door

I plan on putting a build similar to this in my 1970 nova. Any ideas of moderately inexpensive builds that's are like this? I have a stock 454 Chevy from a 1993 suburban..?

I have never been to the Gator-Nationals. I worked with a man who told me how he had bought a Gasser that rocked his SOX off. An innovator himself. I learn a lot form those wiser than me, that are unassuming, preferring to stay out of limelight. I speak to old heads that remember the Best damn garage and such. I don't live my life through others but try to keep their skills alive.

I am considering just putting a thumper comp cam in with rev kit, all from comp cams. Do they make a complete package over in the US like that? Cam, lifters, pushrods,springs, roller rockers. I love your eagle they never came here i was considering buying one and doing what you have done to yours

Hey HotRod love this car of yours, are these the same engine bay as the 72 hornet? Mate would you know anyone that might have a full set of bumper overiders e.g front and back, for my hornet? Your car here Ronnie never came here, but I was looking for one a while ago but I could not find a good one so gave up on the idea

I am trying to take a video and put it up of the blown camaro. My mates say i am crazy, but big is better, and blown is nicer, I would like to put a 572 into a hornet and tub it, but I won't be able to street it unless i am running a 9" floater, and the 572 gets called a 396 for paperwork

August 0 It is a Comp Cam "Big Mutha Thumpa"..It has a .107 lobe center and has .520 lift. Hope this helps. Me and #CoupeZilla
