The more genuine he is being when he says something, the clearer his voice. That in mind; remember when he said he was getting involved in the Hotel out of boredom in the pilot? His voice was hella scratchy with static. When he claimed he dropped by because he just happened to see Charlie's disaster of an interview with Katie Killjoy, his voice was also extremely staticky. He. Was. LYING. Both times. He did not just happen to see Charlie on TV and decide to randomly drop by because he found it entertaining. He did not decide to get involved with the Hotel just because he was bored. And then... mind... he disappeared 7 years ago. At the same time as Lilith. And 'just HAPPENS' to reappear just as Charlie is attempting to do something that ABSOLUTELY would put a target on her back by Adam and rhe Exorcists. Just in time for Lilith's daughter to start very probably putting herself in danger. And immediately joins straight in ruthlessly and violently and very, VERY seriously protecting both Charlie and the Hotel... without even having made a deal, despite being a notorious Dealmaker. Think about this strangely numerous pile of convenient coincidences, his lies about his motivations, and things he has been doing that are well known to be outside Alastor's usual behaviours. Then add in Husk's comment about _someone_ owning ALASTOR. Someone who might be interested in, say... sending him to protect a certain place and person...

It was a pretty cool line but overall Alastor slaughtered Vox in the song.

I was kind of hoping for bitchy valley girl Lolita like the vibes she gave off in the pilot but tbh it makes sense - Valley Girl accents are inherently tied to the imagery of rich and entitled nepobabies who spend their family’s money with rampant shopping sprees. Velvet’s particular British accent is considered more “lower/working class” and does a good job of communicating both her humble beginnings as an ordinary sinner and self made woman trying to climb her way to the top AND the underlying tension between her and more established overlords in a “nouveau Riche vs old money” type way.

She is the backbone of the Vs.

Yeah, that's where I thought they were going. I'm pleased they didn't, but also it makes sense: Sir Pentious isn't very devious and quick on his feet, he couldn't bullshit his way out.

This comment deserves so much recognition EVERYONE I see is putting the sorry song at the bottom of their tier list of songs between these 4 episodes when imo the message is so sweet & endearing I couldn’t help but choke up a little bit. Definitely far from the worst song in the series. Obvi I can get from a professional’s pov the song was chirpy & clique but that didn’t matter 1 bit to me.

Not to mention Sir Pentious is the only one who says sorry and then afterward you don't really see him do anything really that bad again. The worst is the next episode when he is caught with his new weapon and buying weapons because he doesn't trust the rest of them yet, but he never uses them. After that he's really just kind of a nice guy hanging around and sticking with his friends. I know other people were upset their guesses for the finale were wrong, but to me it made a lot of sense.

I reckon the deer motif is also in reference to his cannibalistic tendencies as wendigos are often depicted with deer-like features.

I love all the little nods to his origin in every little thing that he does, from the elk noise, to the antlers to him eating a deer and the X on his forehead. It's all such subtle, fun character design!!

I fucking loved hearing that elk bugle and then immediately seeing pentibitch get launched like a toddler from a canon.

i do think that the songs overall feel of less quality and doesnt quite match the charm from the ones in the pilot to Hazbin and almost all of the Helluva Boss songs, some of the ones from the Hazbin season i definetly have liked, just like overall.

Stayed gone and the song in EP4 where bops. And I'm normally not a musical fan.

Charlie's songs are worse, but everybody else is knocking it out of the park. Hell, even Adam has a decent song, even if I hate his guts..

I would say it’s not inaccurate but it gives you the gist of what happened with Angel

I'm pretty sure her exact words were that it was a dream Angel had about escaping from Val. So everything that happened in the club scene and the shit with Cherry committing terrorism aren't canon. But the scenes with Val and at the hotel probably were.

Given other videos of hers, I'm pretty sure she just mutes the whole thing automatically to avoid the hassle in the first place.

Certain reactors do that specifically out if respect for the original, so you have to go watch it yourself to see the entire thing. Not sure exactly what her reason is but i reapect it. Like yeah I'd love to see every second of the episode and how she reacts to it, but she just doesn't keep everything in Also I checked and this is the only aliciaxdeath content she will be putting on patreon, so its probably also to leave some content of the episode exclusive to watching it there.

Same here. It's one of the worst cliches to me. Especially the version where a guy gets assaulted, his partner walks in, she assumes he's cheating on her even though he's tied up or backed into a wall, & then she leaves him there but we're still supposed to like her & the assaulter afterward & be glad when the relationship gets "fixed".

If I had to bet on one of them achieving success by themselves it would be on Velvet. Even if Vox seems like the overall leader and has some charisma and book smarts. (Valentino on the other hand I feel like would be a low level thug without Velvet and Vox. He seems too shortsighted, violent and aggressive.)

And as good point she is more into anime and learning Japan language. This is was her just great comedy. And I am honored to have that kind sister just like my older sister which have become mother on this Christmas. So i/we couldn't be as Schizophremic more happy and lucky to have them.
