Ruben Fresco hey dude how did you find the e-brake wire? You know how you can't really move any setting on the stereo unless you have the ebrake? But i didn't plug that one in since i couldn't find it! Any idea what color the wire is?
I have I think this same unit, bought car used with it installed, is their a video or website that might explain how all the functions work, I have figure how to establish radio choices , but the phone connection seems impossible to figure out not to mention the other things ie, connection to phone etc
Thanks for putting this up on the You T u b e. It was my first addition to my '05 roadster with the help of this video I was able to pull it of myself.
Have the Bose version, I used the Metra 70-7551 wire harness to hook it up. Ground the black and black/white wire. At first when I didn't ground the black/white wire I got a continuous popping sound. Didn't need the PAC ROEM-NIS2 kit don't know why, a lot of people say they required it in order to correctly let their aftermarket radio work with the stock Bose amplifier system. ( My radio = Pioneer AVH X5800DAB ) If you use the nn03b wire harness with a Bose system it will work but the sound will be way to load as the sound is amplified two times. This could cause you to blow up your speakers if you really would put up the volume.

mate paint that center console it looks awful. I got 350z and the same player and i painted the console satin black and looks awesome. I also removed that cheap ugly compartment over the player and put ipad mini connecting it to the aux on the back of the player and looks amazing
+DatZ33 wraps are hard to do on interior. All u need to do is go over it with sandpaper then spray with primer and then the paint. Satin looks better than gloss spray. If u don't want permanent paint just get plasti dip and u can just peel it off whenever u want. Easy
I see you also have your thick blue wire not connected. I installed about the same model pioneer but my rear speakers arent working. I have non bose model. Suggestions?
hey what harness did you use to match the connections? i hear the bose system is a shit show and can't use anything else with it did you do anything else on the wiring or just a standard nissan one?
Onyii Ilo same problem here, trust me on this..... rewire to your speakers. You can use the live memory wire only. Other than that you need to start from scratch, including ign switched live and a decent ground/earth. The original wiring is junk.
Do you know if you can still control the radio from the steering wheel factory setup? I was told that If I changed my radio I wouldn't be able to control the radio from the steering wheel factory setup which has deterred me from changing. Thx in advance
Wish i had the answer, i have a base model which doesn't have the steering wheel controls. Maybe the forums could help. Or even the 350z page on Facebook
I think you may have to use a different set of harnesses for the bose system since it came with a subwoofer and an amp. I have an 04 with a bose and I also have the same radio that I’m going to try and install myself. They have auxiliary connections in the back so I believe it’s Plug n play.
Quick question, Would you be willing to pay a $1000 to buy a second din were the cubby is located? theres a company call system bliss on Facebook and they can make custom system for 350z. please let me know if it's somthing you would consider? thx
