I don't blame you with editing. Editing is a pain in the butt. New subscriber here. I actually just got finished with my system install. I went with Blaupunkt, and JVC. My system hammers pretty decently and screams loud n clear w/o distortion. I do need to add a sub for sure.

Hook the park brake up to a toggle, and ground it. Then when you wanna play a video you engage an disengage the toggle, screen pops up with the ok button for u to hit to watch videos while driving. Tricks the radio into thinking parking brake has been engaged. U have to engage and disengage with like a 1 sec pause in between.

I don’t use butt splices when I put harnesses together. I personally use pigtail crimps because they’re quick and much harder to pull apart. Great video exo!

Question I have 2 10s and an amp in my car and a kenwood deck I'm swapping out the deck for a sony I'm just wondering how is the amp connected to the deck wiring should I be able to just swap decks

Should unless it requires a specific harness peice my friends 04 mustang with factory amp required a harness after he tried to just wire to the cars inputs ect but if everything works rn and you have rca it should be a fairly direct swap over between the 2

you should do a video on how to install a REALLY EXPENSIVE head unit into a HUGE touch screen factory unit and retain all the cool features of the new car equipment, like steering wheel controls, siris/xm travel link, weather, sports, and movies data link the usb connectors in the car, keep factory gps antenna and keep your factory backup camera...because we blew $45000 on this car and dont want to have 2 GPS and satellite antenna and numerous backup cameras hanging all over the car, and if we sell/trade in the car it would be easy to remove aftermarket stuff and still have all the factory stuff working for the next person instead of destroying resale/trade in value

Parking break is for your back up cam. Just ground it to a near bolt in back of the headunit. And cam cable goes to the power source if the cam. Depending what cam you get. Just a little help for anyone watching and wanting to know the rest of the info exo is going to make the video about

U have several questions and cannot find a utube that is specific to it... 1 - Do I have to use the Power Yellow and the Remote Blue cable if my Amp already has it ? Meaning all I will need to connect is the Speaker wire. 2 - I have the PAC LP7-4 L.O.C. PRO Series 4-Channel device, I'm only going to tap in the rear speakers, so I will use 2 channel on the PAC, can I just twist the other two channels together ? Meaning I will use the White and Gray for the 2 channels, can I just twist the Green to the White and the Purple to the Gray for all 4 channels and then go all 4 channels to my amp RCA ? 3 - The the Gain on the PAC will only have the adjustment on one side which is the Right and Left Rear Or Front ? or would I need to adjust both Gains to the same ?

I know your a busy guy and probably won't respond, but Im trying to find out what radio would be good for a system in a Nissan rogue or Murano. I have a 6.5k watt system w/15s in my Tahoe, but in thinking of putting the evl sundown 15 package in one of these and I'm not sure about good double din radios compliant with the reverse cam. I love single din JVC for the crisp sound, but that won't cut it.

When I tried to put this radio in my dodge ram 1500 2012 I didn’t get power to the unit right away like you seemed to. Is there something I have to do like plug in to the cigarette lighter close by or car’s fuse box?

So I added an aftermarket double din, it didn't sound good at all because it's cheap. So I put an aftermarket pioneer cd player in as well. I'm having a hard time getting the 2 to communicate. Any suggestions?

I just bought a kenwood 957xr it's more than I wanted to pay but receivers are hard to find these days. Am I going to install it? No. I tend to break off 50% of those clips anytime I try

Wish it was this simple for all cars, I drive a mk3 ford mondeo pre face-lift and although it had a large factory headunit, the hole is very slightly smaller than double din (post face-lift have a different design) and very careful cutting was required to make the Sony double din fit the dash. I had to cut all the way to the edge where the gloss finish starts top and bottom but leave a border of the original matt surround on the sides, it was a very slow job to make sure that it looked as close to factory as possible, one mess up and I would have had gaps but managed to get clean tight fitting lines by taking hours to do it.

I am a woman but I watched this video with fascination. I am thinking about getting a Pioneer double DIN stereo system as a substitute. I don't think I'd dare to do it myself, I am afraid I would blow up the car, (all those wires!!!) and besides, I don't have all those tools, much less the aptitude. But I still like to have some idea of how things work, out of curiosity, and so I don't get scammed. Great video, very detailed. You are talented and skilled. The kitty is lovely.

The only reason I didn't upgrade my factory radio is because I don't feel like buying extra modules to stuff in my - to get my steering wheel on Star and other controls to work.

Listening to the way you describe the proper way to install it in the bracket reminds me of my last install. It's funny that the proper way is a time consuming sob. and takes are considerable amount of effort as opposed to doing it the wrong way which seems way easier but it looks like crap

Может скажу глупость, но в автомобиле провода лучше не паять, особенно посреди провода. Пайка место пайки получается жестким и может в этом месте переломиться. Или просто скрутка под термоусадку или специальные соединительные втулки конекторы под обжим с термоусадкой.

EXO is my idle. He is the reason i am going to deck out my 1990 celica in nothing but sundown audio. 4 12" subs, 2 10k amps, and a couple of amps for the mids&highs. The box will take up the whole backseat. It will be a ported box too.

I have changed my headunit previously, so there is an ISO connector now. If i wanted to upgrade it again, would i have to cut the wires or is the ISO universal for all brands now? thanks

Wish they made a TRUE universal kit for a 2011-2014 Dodge Charger. I really don't want the Metra 99-6514B kit. Just seems like there is no justice when it comes to aftermarket audio for Chargers
