This is SO well done. Thanks. I just bought a used Z and someone prior has moded the head unit. My next project is to pull the unit - just as shown here - and hopefully figure out what they screwed up. I would like to restore to original.

why remove the shifter? it seems like you could leave it on.

Is it the same procedure to the facelift model (2006-2008), or are there different screws on different locations? I‘ve read something about two additional screws on lower part of the front dash cover of the radio, so two on the left side and to on the right side as you mentioned in the video, but two additional screws in the middle below?

how do you set the clock on the stock radio I just got a 2003? so far everything is work on my radio from what i can tell.

Great video! My CD player will not read the CD's, but the radio works fine. Should I trash this one and start over or is the hope to get this one playing CD's?

Why do you still have the power on while doing that? Disconnect the Negative Batt lead FFS.
