Another banger of a video. Very well done, as usual. On Friday, I decided to start a Tour around the Zone in Chernobylite. Of course I had to go and check the cooling towers first^^ I really like the notes and the scientists speaking to you. But darn, what a stellar job you did on those cooling towers! Especially that mural from the Igor Kostin picture.
Thank you! As far as scanning was important, remodelling the raw files into the 3d versions was extremely long and demanding (yet very satisfying once the result was done) :-) And sorry for replying so late, tons of work these weeks on new videos from Cherno2 👀
@@Chernobylite You must have a personal RBMK in the basement to power all the computers. Rendering is notoriously heavy on the machinery. But the results are absolutely to die for. Can't wait to see all the improvements you've made to Chernobylite 2. And don't worry about the late replies. I'm sure you're drowning in work right now.
Haha, actually in Poland we already have laws about the "personal use nuclear reactors", mostly about the use of it in companies. Funny side is that we don't have any nuclear power plant, only some small, research reactors. Even funnier that there's no technology like that available on the whole Earth yet :D
@@Chernobylite What, you mean I cannot build myself a miniature RBMK for personal enjoyment?😜 But isn't Poland going to build a new NPP? Or at least, that's what I read somewhere a while ago. And the name of your research reactor is very beautiful; Maria. What a nice name for a reactor. The Chinese have pretty names for them as well. The big PWR is called Hualong One (big Chinese Dragon One), and the SMR that they're building right now is called Linglong One (exquisite/delicate Dragon One)😊
Yes! We have ongoing plans to finally build a nuclear power plant while there're ongoing talks about another ones :-) Maria is actually extremely important not only to science but also for medical purposes - as far as I remember, we use ourselves and export semi-products of nuclear reactions used in cancer treatments and research 😊
