Like Spinning Plates is my favorite Radiohead track, by a good bit. It, Pyramid Song, and the closer save this album for me. Three brilliant tracks and the rest is just ok for me.

Agreed, I think it's akin to the Beatles Tomorrow never knows, like most Radiohead songs you have to give it time to tune into the intricacies.

'Rubber Soul' was far and away my favorite Beatles record for years, and I knew the critical acclaim and general wisdom was "Revolver' was recorded nearly back to back, and was ultimately the better or best of all. I gave it tries, background in the car to sink into my brain lobes, and then yeah, one day "Tomorrow Never Knows' after 4 or 5 listens just smacked me across the face. I do still prefer 'Rubber Soul' but it may be sentimental from a road trip I first really dived into it. I was one of the shameful many who wanted OK Computer Part2 SO BAD, I couldn't comprehend Kid A, so much so I'd skip National Anthem and Idiotech immediately always and just rest on "How To Disappear' and 'Optimistic'. I liked Amnesiac more, though much weirder, a few more classic RH songs and guitars, but after that I ceased listening to them for 6 yeas and dove deep into tracking the blues from today to the 20's. Then one night, randomly, In Rainbows: From the Basement came on, I was blown away - here was MY band, once again making the greatest of the great music. I was back in, and then revisited old albums I missed and love them all, B-Sides included, except 'Hunting Bears' my only truly confusing track. I imagine my journey is not the only similar one. Now I think to myself - "Dude, you skipped 'The National Anthem???' Nut the best music takes its time to creep into your brain.

I still think In Rainbows is probably their best record and the one i listen to the most still but I love them all.

@@jameshannagan4256 Oh yeah In Rainbows is definitely top 2 for me with OKC. Only reason I didn’t mention it is because he hasn’t gotten to that one yet.

I looked it up again and I meant Glass Onion lool, which was a kind of ‚meh‘ follow up, but whatever lol

Imo this is their 7/8th best album in competition with ‘The King Of Limbs’. I like both of them, they’ve got some great songs, but some completely forgettable and unnecessary songs as well. They both feel like experimental B-Side Albums (which I’m not complaining about btw, it’s just my opinion) as opposed to proper albums.

Yeah but he got Spinning Plates, so give him credit. Plenty of fake reactions on youtube if you want 10s.
