Hey man, great video. I think that I will make this mode soon to my radio but I have two questions: What will happen if you turn on your radio without the antenna ? And how long was the cable that you soldered to the transmitter ? Thanks in advance, Matthew

DroneX Sweden Thanks man! If I make this mode to my transmitter I will probably carry the radio in a separate box to prevent it of turning on itself.

I saw your video and I have the same problem as you with the remote control antenna what kind of antenna should i look for for modification?

I used a 2.4G 5dB Antenna RP-SMA. Any antenna with those specs should work! You might also be able to use an even higher dbi antenna but it might also fry it.

I did do it, but I attached a minor diameter wire, and I lost signal at 30 meters. Before I see you video I think that I used wrong wire. I will buy the wire that you say.

Do you have the AT10 or AT10 II (2)? The reason I ask is the AT10 II (2) comes with a 7dBi antenna. So if you have used the same setup as DroneX Sweden on a AT10 II, you have downgraded the antenna output by 2dBi.

Hello there. I have a new AT10ii and R12DS system yet. I bought it for my plane with nitro engine. I do not have an ESC. (no esc). I have one 2s 7.4v battery and one UBEC 6v device. How can I connect this battery to the R12DS receiver. from which port I will connect. Do I need to use UBEC 6v? will the 2s7.4v battery work on my connection? I will connect the battery to which channel. I will connect to which channel the numbers are formed with red color. Would you mark me with a photo and attach it to the message? Please.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Somehow this comment ended up in the spam section. The R12DS supports a input voltage of 4.8 to 12V which you can connect to the middle row or the pin labeled VCC. As for controlling the motor without an ESC is not something I'm familiar with so I can't really help you there. The receiver is capable of working in SBUS, PPM and PWM and my guess is that you are interested in the PWM signal where each channel is separated as I presume you don't have a flight controller on you craft. If that is the case the different numbers correspond to different channels on your radio which you can see in the manual I linked. www.radiolink.com.cn/doce/product-detail-126.html Hope that clarifies things, if you have more questions just ask away.
