Hi my friend. Thanks for the quick response. Not all You tubers respond to questions in a timely manner, if at all. I really appreciate that about you. Thank you for the feed back and encouragement to proceed with my purchase of the Radiolink controller. One more question, will I need a corresponding gyro on the car for that fuction to work? This was the first video of yours that I have seen. Because of the great, in depth video review I subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to more great videos. Cheers my friend.

Looks very nice for sure.. for me though I don't understand the need, 300 quid is a ton of money to spend,, cost the same as the new syncro 4 (which has a hardest thrown in):) I'm sure there is a purpose for this kind of thing for serious racers but for bashing ! Anyway, every hobby has the top end stuff and there are always people who will part with a load of cash.

Hey buddy , Yeah i hear you this is not for some thats for sure , But i will say ive been playing with mine over the past few days and i adore it . Really do feel connected with the car . Set up was very easy , Menus were clear to understand . Endpoints and Subtrim were a doodle . As for the purpose , well thats down to who's using it i suppose , if your someone that likes to tinker like myself . This suits all sorted its like anything there are three crowds , cheaper and cheerful and happy to use what they come with , Mid range and curious , and someone that wants all the features . the world would be a boring place if we were all the same hey ! Tons of menus for all types of RC users . Stay awesome Chris :)

I'm impressed with this radio..i have the RC6gs V3 and am debating upgrading...however to take advantage of the faster FHSS protocols i would have to upgrade all my receivers as well (6 in total) so im not sure if it's worth the costs....

Hey there buddy , finally used mine today . Don't really have any complaints at all so far , Easy to use , Fast , Responsive , Setting up was a doodle . used the faster protocol on my EXB V2 and works tremendous . I feel so connected with the car when using it . Depends really what you want , I've ordered 4 of the previous receivers and ive heard they work great . Stay awesome Chris :)

Great video. I have the Rc8x, just tried it last weekend. The only thing I noticed about mine is that I get about 100 m before all the bars on the radio are gone but the car is still responsive. I was just wondering if you’ve noticed this and will you be doing a range test on yours?

Hi Chris, I have an Red Bull RB7, F1 car 1/7 scale (a nitro car) very fast and a little squirrely. I had a question about the Radiolink RC8X? I believe you said that it had the ability to use a gyro and traction control. This car has so much power and is so lite that it doesm't want to track in a straight line. It wants to swap end for end a loves to go into a spin. Any suggestions? Will this controller help me to get this car to be more controllable? Thank so much
@ChriswithaCrc
@ChriswithaCrc 22 дня назад
Hey buddy yes this would be perfect for that sort of running . Gyro , traction control and abs all will work in your favour , love the fact that each profile is different to another so you can set up the same car ( copy a profile ) and make minor tweaks to each one depending on places you run . Very much like having a race car map

someone broke in to my garage and stole a TOOONNNNNN of my stuff, including my flysky noble nb4. Ive been looking at the nb4+ to replace it with but stumbled across this one and was intrigued that you can run an fpv feed directly to the screen.. between the nb4+ and the RC8X which would you choose? If i had futaba money i would be doing that but these are only like 300$. this is actually $10 cheaper than the nb4+ but appears to be a better radio. at least has a better screen.. id have to change all the telemetry modules and receivers in all my cars but it would be worth it because this thing looks awesome.

Hey there buddy , Ah man thats terrible that some Scumbag broke in to your garage . what did they take buddy ? So sorry to hear that makes me sick thinking that someone feels it ok to do this . Right as for the Noble NB4+ and This handset well i was in the same predicament to be honest with you , But there was something that kept me coming back to this one . I installed it today in to my EXB and it was seamless and very easy to use , Found the menus a doodle as well . The Gyro was easy to set up , End points again easy and Sub trim no issues at all . Ran it up and down the street as a test run and its performed great , Fast easy to use felt as if i was connected to the car no issues . So i can comment that it seems like this is a winner ( Early calling it ) , Time to use it in the field now . Stay awesome Chris :)

@@ChriswithaCrc they took a lot.. it's a very long story but the short version is 2 years ago I moved into a new apartment, come to find out the places not only complete garbage with broken everything everywhere but the landlord just absolutely refuse to fix anything at all. The final straw was when I fixed stuff myself he refused to reimburse me. So I told him I was going to stop paying them and hold the money until he fixed things which is his legal obligation and he tried to be slick and take me to court so he could get his money and still not fix anything. Well I won in court and had to give him $0 for back pay but they gave me 2 months to be out of the apartment. So after not being able to find an apartment that I could afford that was close enough to my job that allowed dogs I bought a camper and moved into the backyard of one of my dad's friends I used to know a bunch of years ago. My computer and a couple vital things were in the camper but the vast majority of the things that I owned were stored in boxes in the garage in a back room. The room was locked and the garage was locked. I get home from work one day and notice one of my boxes in the driveway and come to find out it's because her heroin addict son broke into the garage and stole pretty much everything that I owned. Computers, two laptops, my son's PS3, a Wii, a ton of games and movies, a Nas, a guitar that belonged to my brother that passed away, a $2,000 controller for an electric dirt bike I was building, the $2,000 battery that I just got done building for that bike, two TVs, etcetera. I'm not even exaggerating it was literally everything that I owned besides the things that had no value and furniture. It's probably tens of thousands of dollars worth of stuff. Cops were called immediately and of course nothing happened. Never got anything back. Luckily all my RC cars were in my uncle's basement along with a $3,000 electric scooter and $10,000 e-bike that I built and an enormous tote of tools. This happened at the end of last summer and I'm still to this day the realizing more and more things that were in those boxes that were stolen. It's a horrible violated feeling to be stolen from. Disgusting scumbags. I hope I catch him in the street. But that's a different subject. Lol. But cool I'll definitely buy that one then over the nb4+. I loved my v1 nb4 but the UI wasn't the best and the screen was pretty low resolution. Plus after using openTX radios like a jumpert18 I used to own going back to even a nice radio like the nb4 felt like a caveman tool. I wish they made trigger radios with huge screens that ran openTX. It's so nice. I appreciate the info man. I'll definitely sub. Good creators deserve the support!
