Still flying the tx16s MK11. Very happy with it. Good size screen for these old eyes. And I've gotten used to the touch screen. That being said, this looks like an excellent radio that anyone would be happy with. The QX7 replacement. 👍🤓

They do also have preorders for just the clear shell. I have the regular Boxer that I got before the clear shell came out and I ordered a set because it's awesome.

I have the orange transparent case, going to be upgrading the gimbals to the ag01 orange and installing the light kit too at the same time, hope I don't mess it up. the 1W elrs chip is just doo damn good, and the tx16s doesn't have the same chip the tx16s only has a 250mW internal radio in it... the extra broadcasting power of the boxer out of box makes it one of the best long range daily drivers you can buy. (other than the ranger 2.5W external unit)

I love the touch screen on the tx16. Even the menu has a nicer layout on the tx16. I can't go back to the old touch less 8bit menu. But man that Boxer radio looks the business.

Just went from analog to a full digital O3 setup and elrs. My other radio ( tbs ethix mambo) will be just for my whoops and old 5’ and the transparent boxer will be for my Aos3.5 O3 and other future kwads 👌🏻 cant wait for it to come in the mail tomorrow

I was about to get this and then i saw the Rotor riot limited edition boxer and had to jump on those gumballs, which in reality is a better deal buying the whole boxer than the gimballs separately. This one is beautiful though as im a fan of that old school clear n64 look

Flying an OG TX12 with AG01 Minis, and a Happymodel 1 watt ELRS module, here. My budget's super-tight, and Radiomaster's got the bang-for-buck. You won't go wrong with any of their stuff. I prefer the smaller form factor; it fits my little meat hooks better than a full-sized rig. Being a thumber is another factor.

They made a couple of different switches. I think you could stick one in the back to turn the LED's off.

Feels great in the hands much like the TX16S, and the full size gimbals are super nice, but the push button switches were a no-deal for me.

really? they don't even come assigned to an aux channel out of the box... the front switches are the aux channels 1-4 by default, and the far left one is preset aux 1 "disarm." you have to intentionally assign the momentary button, and the two position button manually. I use the 2-position switch for the buzzer... its really convenient.

There is a Boxer in my Shopping Cart right now, I'll eventually break and submit the order.......... Looks like I'll be selling my Tango 2.......damn, 5+ years on Crossfire.... the migration to ELRS begins now (I'll keep a Crossfire Module for the Boxer too)

Try clear switch covers for the complete look... totally disagree on the side switches, about same muscle memory as tango, and that RM leather sucks, far too slippery I swapped back the Zorro covers on the Zorro Max. Gonna try the hollow AG01's on the clear boxer. Aint it shame those are not RGB adjustable LEDs?

could you please confirm if Boxer is forward programming capable like the tx16s? Should be under tool menu, my file does not run and the error is incompatible. many thanks

Click models button, find the model you want to delete, then long press till menu comes up and select Delete.

Qx7 is an all time great but it’s from a time long past. It’s a great next generation equivalent. Smaller, good gimbals, cheap, and elrs built in.

Lol terrible look... Wish they made the side grips more grippy and got rid of the useless strap. Wouldn't be getting a clear case here in a hot climate.

First they stole the mambo design, now they stole the clear case that TBS is known for. I'll buy one when they steal crossfire and release it with that lol.
