I love roasted radishes, especially french breakfast radishes! That variety is very sweet compared to other radishes, even raw. However, the rest of my family is pretty iffy about them, so we don’t plant just a whole ton of them.
They are such a fun and versatile food! They are great fresh in salads, divine when pickled, and when pan fried or cooked in a potato replacement way they are very mild and a WONDERFUL vehicle for flavor 😍 and to top it all off they wont go strait to the thighs like potato's lol just not a downside to them!
lol I feel you there but some of us gotta watch that carb count otherwise it goes strait to the thighs 😂 I wonder if I can shred them and make a decent low carb hashbrown 🤔 that may be a worthy experiment!
