Hi john The r108 is great, made by the same factory.no sideband though which is a shame as it's easier to carry etc. Vhf airband is slightly better than the 808 but they have a tendency to go wrong as mine did..just on airband.
HELLO SIR YOUR REVIEWS ARE ALWAYS GREAT, I'M FROM INDIA PLEASE SUGGEST ME WHICH ONE SHOULD I GO WITH OF ABOVE THEM ? im looking for great and little bit punch of bass radio? As per look and appearance i liked 808 but I'm not sure about which one sounds great ! Plz help me..
I am From india 🇮🇳 too.. I have purchased sihuadon r 108 from amazon it cost about 3650 ruppe.. It is amazing radio, Air band is best it catches air signal from 200 km far aeroplane.. FM is also so sensitive.. Sound quality is best
the funkraum channel I see! Thanks for the information. I think the RADIWOW wins! I will go and purchase one because of your honest and unbiased opinion.👏🏼
Nice Informative video Sir...... Does Radiwow R 108 have overloading issue on SW & FM in comparison to Xhdata D 808 when connected to external Antenna..
Sir, I am planning to buy R-108 for SW listening , So can I ask your advice regarding the performance of R- 108 & D-808 which is Good & which is better on SW both using external antenna & telescopic (internal )antenna.......@@thefunkraumchannel6709
This is an amateur non edited video as they all are..its real life not staged and far from perfect as I am an RF engineer not a cameraman...sorry you didnt like the video
I listen to web DSR and there's not much on SW anymore. It's best to get a SSB radio these days for amateur radio as there's not much else to hear apart from on FM. although there expensive the DSP chip stop's a lot of SW channels coming through . The best option is to get a usb rtl-sdr dongle as there only £30. No SSB in a radio make's all the difference although air band is good. I wish the SSB radios would come down in price as there cheap poor quality a lot of people complain about aeriel antenna falling of and screens also from Chinese brands .
