Rafa is ridiculously dope... wow. LOL at 445-515. There is so much being said during that silence. The subtle looks they are giving each other too..lol
Rafaels awarnes of multiple angles and positions and capitalising on the smallest gapes is nothing short of amazing. And he's not even breathing hard! What the hell?!!!
Rafael : O cara. THE BEST.
i love raffa mendes...he is my favorite fighter....i would love to see him demolish eddie bravo...not because im a hater.....just simply because i admire a lot of eddie bravo technical trickery...and would like to see how an expert like raffa deals with it...as i have no idea how to handle bravo...but i just know raffa knows how and would LOVE TO SEE HOW ITS DONE.....i am in awe of eddie bravo half guard lockdown and some of his posture control from the guard...but raffa is my favorite ...possibly of all time...i train with roger and love what he taught me ...but my favorite style is leo viera , raffa mendez....and i saw raffa demolish leo..and galvao
At 5:13 Paulo Myiao at blue belt , in the background ... Leaving the jokes aside. Sick Jiu jitsu by the Mendes' . I guess the finest jiu jitsu, most technical of all today. Can anybody get more technical than that ? I sincerel don't think so. Maybe Caio Terra , Malfacine or Jeff Glover are getting close, but not quite there yet! Don't get me wrong , cause I love those guys' jiu jitsu as well.
I love the techniques and I love watching two high level guys working against each other, but it's actually hard to watch videos from the Mendes academy because the WHITE is so bright that it hurts my eyes after a few minutes.
That has to be the classiest dojo ever, clicked on the video just because of how nice it looked. Disappointed that, yet again, this dojo uses loud music during rolls. Where did this custom come from? Call me old fashioned, but I believe no music allows for better concentration and it's just more respectful of the work taking place.
