Man crazy thing is, Alimoe aka Black Widow had a chance to go to Fresno St. with Skip but chose to stay a street baller cause he listened to other ppl. Would've been nice to see them playing college ball together. #RespectToSkip #RIPAlimoe
Street baller to college to the League NBA!!! I grew up on this dude!!! Love the way he made it to the NBA!! Hard Work!! For a lot of street ballers he tried to show them the way!!!!!!! #SkipToMyLou#Legend!!!
No disrespect but You never played ball or don't understand basketball if you compare hot sauce to Skip🤣 Skip is on a entire different level.. That's like comparing Michael Jordan to Harold Miner🤔think about lol you probably don't know who is Harold Miner is but that sums it up LOl.. Basically he will never measure up.
Coach trying his best not to smile but he eating this up. I'm sure he's thinking to himself while smiling "I'm so glad I didn't write him off after the scout brought me And 1 Mixtape: Volume 1 😏"
FS basketball still hasn't recovered from Tark's days, but Selland was one helluva' place to catch a game. Hopefully Coach Terry and the high-profile recruits he's bringing in can finally let us know if Save Mart Center has the potential to rock as well as Selland Arena used to.
I remember the Fresno City College connection when I was a Freshman in College as I went to a couple games and saw Rafer Alston with the dreads before he got them cut and Larry Abney. Wow what great talent from NY they were. If only Allie Moe, (not sure is if I spelled his name correctly) would have followed Rafer on the plane to Fresno State they would have been very talented.
Wow de ja vu Im from Hawaii and even though Skip Herren and those guys were our biggest rival then I still loved to watch them play. So much talent on those teams. Brunner, Avondre Jones, Courtney Alexander, Melvin Ely etc. The WAC is not what it once was. Hawaii also had a good team with AC Anthony Carter, we beat #2 Kansas w/ Paula Pierce. Good times!
I was at this game. Most of the team was in my sociology class... well they were enrolled in that class, I never saw them but for the fist day. Go Bulldogs! '98
Fresno State will be much better next year. For all the talent on those Tark teams, they seriously underachieved! We only had one NCAA tourney win during the Tark era, and I'm not ever sure it's still on the books. So lets not pump up those days and trash today so much. 23 wins next year. Go Dogs!
@collegefootballrulez Yep yep we got a new coach. I hope he does better than Cleveland and brings a fan base back to the Save Mart Center. That would be cool.
The glory days of Fresno State Basketball. I miss these days. Good times man. Good times. Fresno State basketball stinks these days. It's as obsolete as it can get.
