The strength of Raft is it solves the problem most other survival-crafter games have which is the twin, normally exclusive goals of making a cool base and exploring the huge world by allowing you to bring your base with you as you explore.

Near the end of the stream, you guys ask what would happen if you drive a snowmobile into the ocean. Well, what happens is you now have a snowmobile in the ocean and you get an achievement. The storage rooms filled with poison are just that, storage rooms, going into them is actually not necessary for the plot.
