Ragatha is 30 years old so it explains the maturity she shows, by be being the bigger person and caring for others. Even if that excludes her feelings 😢
I noticed she was upset and didn’t speak to Pomni after she abandoned her. The next episode she took time to cool off and she forgave Pomni. I thought was very mature and sweet of her.
I get the feeling Jax is the equivalent of the person who plays videogames because they don’t have to worry any consequences there. He’s essentially the equivalent of a Murderhobo in D&D.
You can probably deduce that Jax uses his behavior as a coping mechanism. You see before he rolls his eyes to the funeral idea, he had a genuine moment of sadness. He just hides it with his jerk behavior
@@EkoBahamut I really don’t think that’s the case with Jax and based on the way Gooseworx talks about him, he’s actually supposed to be just a horrible person. He’s very clearly presented as evil, I doubt it’s just him coping.
@@connerkline6269 he's a horrible person, but it can still be a coping mechanism, as in "if I don't care about these people, it won't affect me when something happens to them" but he will start to struggle. He's as trapped as everyone else after all. But at the same time feel is his way to push everyone away.
Also like someone that plays a game to 100% and tests the limits the whole time even probably puts limits on himself or in odd situations why these adventures seem mundane and why he wants the fudge to do what he does because 'damn i could do that?'

i doubt jax's hand would be there creators words or no, jax so far has basically done nothing but be a jerk, and get pomni into danger (abstracted kaufmo, the truck, etc), it stands to reason she'd believe the other 3 would save her, they try to be her friend, not jax who is usually a jerk and has shown like, one or two moments of something deeper outside of being a jerk but that's about it
I think Ragatha might have an episode where is she reaches a breaking point. And it will be incredibly tragic and terrifying. After all, repressing all that emotion isn't healthy

In my opinion, Ragatha sees a reflection of her younger self in Pomni, which explains why she takes up the role of a motherly figure towards her. It is a possibility that Ragatha received no support when she initially joined the circus. ( Kinger might have been there but kinger is Kinger )
They could’ve just ignored him and kept him as an off-screen character, maybe hanging out in the other rooms or even just hanging around outside of the circus (we forget there’s literally a lake and a theme park here). He didn’t even have to be part of the main cast or ever appear as a meaningful character with impact, there could be the occasional scene of Pomni waving to gummigoo who’s over on the ferris wheel or something
I absolutely agree, let's take it one at a time, maybe when pom I gets adjusted, or when she's finally taking grasp we can have someone new to twist everything, but I don't mind if the cast stays like this for a while
Pomni and Ragatha are an amazing dynamic. The way they bounce off each other and help each other grow is incredible. I do like the idea of Pomni being the one to call Jax out on his actions and possibly starting his redemption arch or Jax becomes our villain and Pomni has to defeat him. Either way that'd be really cool.
I think Ragatha has very low self-steem/is depressed. She's still a very good person but she can easily accept pomni leaving her behind because she doesn't value herself to begin with.
The point is in the end that was Ragathas hand and she reached out for her and zooble hand I think so Pomni really does care about Ragatha so Ragatha was wrong that she said “I don’t think pomni like me that much”
@@Zack_Plush_ProductionsI actually don't have much evidence to support the theory- But he does some suspicious stuff such as Break the fourth wall, annoy the crew members, for some reason has keys to all rooms and if you went to the merch store, saw the promotional art mainly, you'd see that he was the only one without a room of his own while the others did and if that isn't suspicious enough Goose said that he's the one that deserves to stay in the circus the most. It's be fitting for him to be an Ai Who probably hid the exit
I think it might be Ragatha, myself. It'll hit harder emotionally, rather than being a "oh, THAT'S why Jax an asshole" It would also explain why Ragatha seems to put everyone else's feelings above her own. She values them less because she isn't real.
(Take grains of salt). I sense we’re likely to see Pomni and Ragatha’s friendship grow throughout the next few episodes. I hope to see Pomni interact with the rest of the characters. As for the next adventure, they’re likely to be at the carnival or festival. I hope we see Gummigoo again and forgive Pomni despite what happened.
I like the detail at the end when everyone grabs pomni’s hand, jax was the only one who didn’t because he wasn’t at the funeral. Just goes to show the effort put into the show
I remember looking that TADC has a lot of biblical influence, and when the 1st episode ends when everyone is eating its like the painting of the last dinner of jesus, and I remember that Ragatha has the same place as Judas (I dont know if I writie it correctly, im not a native english speaker) and pomni has the same place as jesus in the painting, so probably in the future maybe ragatha will betray pomni
I think Ragatha and princess Loolilalu once experienced the same thing maybe and then thats why they are able to get along so well because Ragatha has talked to the princess before, but the princess might not know it but she does. Maybe thats why she doesn't have the heart to tell Pomni.
I hate that no one recognizes gumigoos return except his brothers, not even an awkward hi for him, especially since Pomni says "I made a new friend", kind of introducing him. I believe that all should show kindness and respect to all forms of "life" or consciousness no matter your intentions with the creature, be it abandonment or even murder.
I feel like Jax might’ve hacked into the game, but then realised he was stuck - since he’s the only one with keys and he seems like he doesn’t notice his actions have consequences, like on a video game.
It feels like he isn’t dead, he’s probably teleported to the asset room of all made assets… but instead just A-posing he has a mind of his own now…. or basically to say. He’s independent on his own.
Or maybe not, because no matter how advanced his AI is, he's still an NPC at the end of the day, an NPC Caine feels it belongs with the rest of assets, and was probably turned off because he ain't getting used for the time being, and Caine could can just tweaking him up and do stuff like delete his memories to better fit any other adventure, along adding extra lines of code to prevent him from getting out of character, ignore any secret asset rooms he could find, and add a directive telling him to not follow any of the humans to the portal leading to the circus, so he doesn't have to go through that yet another time
Remmeber, goose works has said that she has some plans for jax, but not good plans, bad plans coming towards him, and she hates him because she said that there's nothing heroic about jax
The hand that saves Pomni is definitely Ragatha, you can see the white part of her shirt at the top. Maybe it symbolizes how ragatha will always care and do everything she can to help.
“is that allowed” was the line that keyed me into ragatha knew gumigoo would be reset. I feel ragatha & pomni will discuss this in a later episode bc it’s definitely a hang up they shouldn’t leave unturned.

I think it was Raghathas hand when she took pomni and Raghatha is my favourite character cause she is caring, kind and has a pure hear that compared to jax she always seems to care about others and give them a second chance she's like the only one who truly thinks about the others... Jax is just ..... Too evil like no one likes him alot bc of his personality... Hes just looking for death and stuff like this..... Raghatha sure shows muture to everyone in the circus
I think Ragatha is clearly using toxic positivity in order to cope with her current life, I don't doubt that she is naturally a really nice person however the way she behaves and how clearly forced her positive outlook is aren't as comforting as she would like it to be. Pomni doesn't necessarily dislike Ragatha, she just doesn't know how to sympathize with her since Ragatha has clearly been shaped by her time in the circus so Pomni as someone who as of Episode 2 has only been in the circus for 1 day and still has a hold of her normal common sense. Of course that's not to say that Ragatha is crazy or anything, however she has clearly been negatively effected by her time there and Pomni can't relate to her.
I think the scene at the end where she's falling in the cellar but is grabbed by the group symbolizes more that Pomni has found she can trust these people (or at least everyone but Jax, he seems to be the only one besides Caine not grabbing for her)
I suppose she thought it was better for Pomni to learn first hand and comfort than warn against and fill her with more dread or let her think she might be able to work something out
4:53 as you can see she had been saved by three hands, and who are those hands? they are ragataha´s zooble´s and gangle´s! what could that mean? it could mean she feels comfortable around those three? or something else?

Unrelated, in the very brief scene at the end with kaufmo's funeral where pomni is caught by everyone in her nightmare, Jax is the only one who didn't reach his hand out.
2:15 I never read this scene that way. I always thought that Ragatha's sad look at the end of episode 1 wasn't about her being upset AT Pomni, but being upset FOR Pomni. This was an incredibly traumatic experience for Pomni, and I bet if Ragatha was presented with an exit door in that situation she also would have taken it, whether it be to save herself or to attempt to help the others from the outside. With that in mind, I believe Ragatha was telling the truth at the beginning of episode 2 when saying that she had no hard feelings and that what Pomni did was understandable. At the end of the day, Ragatha never judged Pomni's character negativity because of the first episode. Ragatha realizes that holding what Pomni did against her is pointless since what she did made sense.
