Badger, my guy... in the film industry we use martial arts mats. We don't just fall onto a hard ass floor. Mind you 1 death animation might be selected out of maybe 50 takes.

I like to imagine how Badger makes death animations by explosives with his motion capture suit: its something like badger pulling a rope that supposed to squeze the trigger of a thumper behind his motion capture equipment inside his house
I just love how he makes dying by bullets so dramatic, if you've ever seen someone die before your eyes by bullets instantly they drop right where they are. Its why we call it dropping bodies.
Between the movement of the camera, the expressive gestures your characters make, and then just the goofy ragdolls, your animations just have some level of humor

As someone who does combat sports (mostly Muay Thai and BJJ) I can confirm that falling onto the ground dozens of times does in fact lead to massive headaches, even with proper breakfall technique.
I'll admit I was worried you were going to say that the laughter caused by source ragdolls got you through the darkest part of your life or something... Which would certainly explain your sense of humor.
I honestly haven't used SFM in a while but this is still incredibly helpful as I haven't really done animation a whole lot! Interesting to get a different pace though from you!
Please make more videos about how you animate in source. I've been trying to learn and this video has been both more educational than most tutorials, and insanely hilarious.
