This song is a true definition of how to turn a cover into something super unique. One of the greatest renditions of all time, hands down. Thank you Rage.
@@aaronkitchens4151 The whole Renegades album is actually a covers album. They are all tracks by musicians who changed the game. The album is a homage those songwriters.
This is actually a cover in case you were unaware. The original is by Afrika Bambaataa from the 1980s. I think this version is better personally, but I may be biased since I love RatM.
@@TheDieselndust Lol that's how I feel whenever someone asks my nationality and I tell them and they respond telling me that their great-grandmother was a Native American princess (usually Cherokee). I do enjoy if when fakers are debunked though (Shania Twain and Angelina Jolie come to mind).
ikr just literally popped after listening coldplay, keane, killers, and stereophonics and then a complete shift of genre struck me remembering this song which is so good just like the prodigy is
They already did, under a different name, 3 of them in Prophets Of Rage. Unfuck The World is a DOPE SONG!!! They still hittin that shit hard af! Been Prophets of Rage since like 2016..I guess they disbanded in 2019 so RATM could get together?!
@@waynemarsh7775prophets of rage is just a shadow of what RATM used to be. -Un- fuck the world is crap, they're no longer the underdogs and their ideology is outdated.
The original by Africa Bambaata was classic and I genuinely can’t think of a better and more significant band to do a version than Rage...what a fucking band 👊🏾🤘🏾
I was always a fan of Rage but i just now watched the video for the 1st time. Holy $#!%. These guys did their homework. They are passionate as hell. They have a lot of heart. A lot of fight in them.
Lines dividing countries are invisible and a human construct. Enjoying and feeling this music creates a bond that is purely human. Being a renegade out there brother, shits tuff right now
Yeah Che Guevara was nothing like the public media and the movements want you to believe. He "fought" the Capitalist movement and tried to bring a more "agalitarian" society? Sure. Did he also commited atrocities especially towards minorities like homosexuals? Also yes.
My late brother loved Rage. This was one of his favorite songs. We always wanted to see them and all the 90s bands. We only got to see Stone Temple Pilots before Scott died. Hopefully one day Rage stops charging so much so I can see them for him.
