RATM played a birthday party for my cousin. This radicalized him and he went up and down his street stealing newspapers and using them to clean his windshield. The cops were called and approached him as he was in the act. He quickly ran home and got his guitar and then returned. He did a rendition of "Killing in the name of". The officers began banging their heads and afterwards pulled out their lighters for an encore. He then played "Vietnow". The officers then thanked him for an awesome show and left abruptly. From then on, the officers would walk the street and gather the newspapers for him. True story.

One thing I am thankful for in these dark times is for bands like Rage Against the Machine who represent the silent majority who feel like the status quo is designed against most people and want change. Jamming RATM all day and for the foreseeable future to stay in the proper mindset and to give them views/attention. Our country's on the verge of a massive catharsis and we can't let it fizzle out like so many other movements have ('Occupy Wall Street' comes to mind)
