I only remember rage quitting one game ever (it was a match of League of Legends, go figure!) and it left such a vile taste in my mouth afterwards that I decided to never get angry while playing a game again.
Granted, I understand why people do get mad - sometimes gaming can be a legitimately frustrating experience. I think context is important though, and I'm definitely not above chuckling at the rage quitters.
In general, I try to stay away from anger and hatred, though I think anger certainly has a place (like a righteous anger, for example). But hatred... I don't know if hanging onto hatred is healthy.
There was a time in my life where I felt legitimate hatred and it consumed me. It was like drinking a poison and expecting the thing you hate to die. It just wasn't good for me. I know I felt a lot better when I let go, but "letting go" is honestly easier said than done and that's a real battle for some people.
Does hatred have a place? I don't know. I know that for me personally though, hatred is an unpleasant emotion... to say the least.
