01.20.2021 | 1:57 PM | CARLSBAD - Crews responded to reports of a brush fire. Upon arrival, they found the fire had spread to about 3 acres and was blowing embers. Helicopters and airplanes arrived to make drops on the flames. The embers started fires on the other side of homes in the marina, up against the water and boats. Carlsbad PD did evacuate an unknown amount of homes in the area
