God I hate this scene so much not because of Terumi but his defeat is nowhere as satisfying it was in the game. We spend half of the fucking episode with Terumi kicking Ragna's ass but once Ragna turns the tide he just beats Terumi in one hit. So much any cathartic sensation

I wonder if he was holding back a little on purpose. He wanted to infiltrate Takamagahara with his spirit form. So he let Ragna injure his body intentionally. In one of the alternate timelines in Continuum Shift (The game), he had Relius injure his body here.
BlazBlue Continuum Shift was basically: Hazama having a better BlazBlue than Ragna Relius having a better doll than Carl Mu being a better Murakumo Unit than Nu/Lambda
And here comes a dumbass that never play the game, there is one fight scene for this which is far better than this one and then the actual fight is in gameplay, and the animation during are fantastic this anime doesn't give justice to the stuff they can do in gameplay, this is basically the same problem with other game adaptation to anime like Tales of the Abyss the characters have a ton shit of attacks and move that could be use in the anime to make the fight badass yet they don't do a shit with it, this is insultingly lazy for a game that has character as skillfull has the one of Blazblue.
ok, what even is this fight? Ragna is literally just screaming and that makes Hazama Lose? And what is that attack even, is that suppose to be *devoured by darkness* ? at least animate the *devoured by darkness* Like in the game. Man they're lazy with this anime.
I know that, it's just that they're too lazy to even animate the fight scene, at least a little bit of clash would be nice, I mean this is the climax where Ragna finally fight Hazama and just ended like that is just so dumb. And I believe that's suppose to be *Devoured by Darkness* since this takes place in BB:CS (If we're using the game as the story source) I don't remember ragna having other move that uses Demon Hand/Claw attack, only *Devoured by Darkness* do that in the game. Overall, I'm just unsatisfied with the Animation here, I was expecting more with Ragna clashing with Hazama Since I always love this fight scene in the game.
@@LoneWanderer-101 Its not that he shut Hazama's Blazblue down, it's just that since Hazama's was made after he was able to give it a function to shut down Ragna's. What the Idea Engine did was simply nullify Terumi's ability to shut down the Grimoire and give him buffs equal to that of Nox Nyctores users, even in Continuum Shift during this fight you're still fighting Unlimited Hazama who's supposed to represent Hazama/Terumi with the BlazBlue active.
