@@rahdo As I said, easily overlooked. I was kind of annoyed with myself when I realized I'd been overlooking that one myself.

Well, i dont know where i got this but i was under they impression that you can trade 2 dice for 1 black one, but after you had to return the black die and take your dice back... i think i have been playing this wrong.

@@KeithJDavies so my other question now would be, after that encounter when u go up against another door, did u forever loose your 2 dice and keep the wild one?

well, in the last few weeks i've also filmed corinth, fuji, village attacks, subatomic, treasure island, and a bunch of expansions: 3 for clank, isle of skye, lorenzo il magnifico, and roll for the galaxy :)

@@MrLinguist88 You just made me go upstairs and find my copy. You're right, my bad -- I missed that shield aura works only against traps. I didn't hear rahdo say that (which isn't to say that he didn't, just that i didn't hear it) and didn't remember it. Well caught.

If by Slime you meant Glooping Ooze, the Skill of the Monster is activated, Richard rolled a 1, so he loses 1 time... That was already noted on the Klingon Subtitles like Richard said to be turned on at the start of the video so you get a notification when he makes a mistake. The rest of your comment is correct but it's not a goof, it was just poor play on Richard's part

He's saying exactly that, since Black dice are wild he can say and use that one as if it was a yellow die and cover up that space

Stacie, I think it would be easier to get the correct reply to your questions on Boardgame Geek in the forum for the game (link in the description of the video... then go to the rules forum and see if that question was already asked by someone, if not, make a new post asking the question you want to be clarified on, if you want linking it to the video with the timestamp where the thing you want to ask about happened. I suggest this because the quality of the replies you will get there will be much higher than the ones me or Rahdo could give you because the video was done more than 2 years ago and neither me or Rahdo have played the game since then, and the people on the forum of the game are "die hard" fans of the game that will most definitely be able to help you much more than me or Richard :) If you then find that Richard made an error and it wasn't already noted in the Klingon subtitles, please comment here saying what was done wrong and when so that we can create a new entry in the Klingon subtitles... Based on the trap icon I don't think you can use that skill in combat.

It's all in the player aid and that's what he explains in the first turn of the game that starts at 2:52 On your turn you Explore OR you Enter a Room, you can't do both... after you do what you choose from those 2 options your turn is finished and a new turn begins, so you have to spend 2 time and then select to Explore OR Enter a Room

@@PauloRenato23 Yeah, I had to watch it four times to catch it. He does discard 2 cards to enter a room ... but the whole time, he is talking about how this would function "if" two people were playing. Which is incredibly confusing, as others have noted. He never directly states that as one player, he has to discard two more cards to enter a room, after discarding two cards to explore.

@@PauloRenato23 He mentions it at 10:04 BUT does NOT say what happens when you CANNOT fill those boxes. Yes, you cannot fill the other boxes until you fill the Shield boxes. So that means you just take the cards full damage and time penalties. then claim the card if you survive the damage. BUT, WHAT IF YOU CANNOT FILL THE 'SHIELD' BOX FOR A ROOM REQUIREMENT ON THE BACK OF THE BOSS CARD? (The back of the bosses card floor by floor requirements?) sometimes they have SHIELD boxes too. What if you cannot fill those boxes? Same thing? Just take the cards full damage and time penalties

He fled from the bear trap earlier than that... at around 21m he was deciding if he should go again to the bear trap (after having fled from it in the previous turn) or to explore the other room... he decided to explore the other room... He paid the 2 time (cards) for this new round at 20:33
