Union Home Minister Amit Shah demanded an apology from Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, over his ‘Hindu’ remark in the house. Rahul alleged that BJP didn’t represent Hindus as the party “believed in violence”. The BJP accused Rahul Gandhi of branding the entire Hindu community as ‘violent’. Union Home Minister Amit Shah demanded Rahul Gandhi’s apology and later accused Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla of favouring the opposition.
