@@coltonchapman7163 Cheifs kingdom keeps choking in the playoffs. And it’s only going to get worse as the skill players age and Mahomes starts breaking down while his contract eats up the salary cap. Enjoy. RN4L.
Gotta come back here after this game, 11-5-23. It really feels like the Raiders are getting their persona, intensity, and identity back with this new coach. It’s rough riding, tough sliding, going over your head and under your bed and scaring tf out of you type game again for us. THE NIGHTMARE IS BACK, THE LEGENDS WERE THERE, THE RAIDERS ARE READY TO HIT YOU HARD AND FAST SO YOU BETTER BE SCARED
"Pride And Poise" was the Raiders' best motto with "Commitment To Excellence" second! They never should have changed their first motto in favor of their second one!
I thought about this video after last night's 63 to 21 shellacking of the Chargers because that was old school Raider football for those of us are old enough to remember it!😂😂
The AFL was a dream come true. Al Davis will always be "The Autumn Winds of Fear".... "Within the first 5-10 plays of a game, the QB must go down, & go down hard." Fuck, you just gotta love that. Yes, go down hard, but within the rules of Football, & his Defenses did exactly that. They were all tough rough Football plays. Why couldn't Al Davis owned the Vikings? The Raiders evolved to be the HELL ANGELS of Pro Football, with Mr. Al Davis leading the way... Sad but true, in his later years, Al Davis did to the Raiders what Jerry Jones has done to the Cowboys; Ruin the Team, despite the great players. If I could go back in time, I'm so part of Raider Nation. After 49 seasons as a Viking, I filed for Divorce with scathing letters to the owner, where I wrote that I wish he had half the Balls of Al Davis, & letters to Zimmer & the GM. Since I live in AZ, I so will travel to Las Vegas, & see @least two home games. YES, I will be wearing Black!
I was a little kid when SuperBowl 11 was played. I was glued to the TV. I always liked the Vikings. Fran Tarkenton, Chuck Foreman, and that defensive front were a lot of fun to watch. I loved when they beat the Cowboys. But I was an AFL/AFC fan and the Raiders had a major chip on their shoulder that year. Don’t think anyone had a chance against them that day. Too bad they never met again. Purple and gold vs silver and black is a nice look. RN4L.
No, he's really not. McZeiglers have been the best thing to happen to the Raiders since Al died. What McZeiglers have done is get rid of players that aren't contributing up to a certain standard. How long did we have Abram on the team, for example? How long did we have Carr on the team? We weren't winning anything with those guys, yet prior coaches were committing to them as if they were our best hope. Al wouldn't have re-hired Gruden, and Al certainly would've traded Carr and signed Tom Brady. Waller is out, because he'd rather release a music album than play for us. Al wouldn't have stood for that, and neither did McZieglers, it seems. McZielgers have made more Al Davis-like moves than I've seen in a long time, and yes, it'll take more than one year for McZieglers to clean up the mess that prior coaches/GMs left this organization in.
Al was quite an A hole at times but he had great love of helping minorities, empowering women, giving misunderstood guys a 2nd chance in the NFL. A great man despite some of his character flaws
The Most Winningest Franchise in Professional Sports in The 70’s. Since they left to LA the first time, The Niners are my team. That said, the Raiders will always have a place in my ❤. No Team has been more entertaining and performed more miracles than the Raiders. ❤️ Daryl Lamonica, Jim Otto, Ben Davidson, George Blanda, Raymond Chester, Henry Lawrence, Upshaw & Shell (best left side in NFL history), Jack Tatum (the first celebrity I ever saw in person as a boy, at Bank of America parking lot), Skip Thomas & George Atkinson (the rest of the Soul Patrol), The Snake Ken Stabler, Fred Bilentnikof & Cliff Branch, Kenny King, The Judge Lester Hayes, The Ghost,Dave Casper, Rod Martin, Otis Sistrunk, John Matuszak, Dave Dalby, Matt Millen, Mike Davis, Reggie McKenzie, John Madden, Bill King (Holy Toledo!), and Al Davis “Just Win Baby!” What brought me here as a Niners fan now? The NFC Champion Game. And remembering Al Davis saying “The Quarterback Must Go Down, and Must Go Down Hard! Hurts is #1 in completions of 25 yards or more, and the Niners are last in defending it. What to do? Remember what Al Davis said about destroying the other teams quarterback.
