“I went off this game, converted every 4th down, got us into overtime, and WHAT DO YOU DO? JUST AS THEIR ABOUT TO LET US TIE AND BOTH MAKE THE PLAYOFFS, YOU CALL A TIMEOUT?” -Herbert to Staley
it wont since the chargers are out lol bills vs chargers would have been a shootout , now its just murder... kc destroys steelers, bengals destroy raiders , only close game will be patriots vs bills tbh
This game was only “good” because the Raiders defense kept selling. The game should’ve been long over when it was 29-14. The momentum turned when the Chargers were given that first down after the Chargers coaches challenge.
@@hmongguyful No doubt. Herbert will punish teams for the next 10 years if he keeps it up like this. However Crosby was putting in enough work along with the other linemen that, the raiders D should’ve made atleast one stop on one of those 4th downs and close the deal on em.
exactly lmao. They were like let's just finish this so we can both get ready for playoffs until Staley called the TO. Then they were just like "k. fuckin lose then."
@@CUbanageNT_24 I think they were just going to run it out and kick a 57 yarder or something. instead timeout allowed raiders to regroup and got a run play off for a 43 yarder
@@sunnyhan824 No they didn't. There was no intention of tieing. We wanted revenge and we got it. Tieing would mean we play the Chiefs. That isn't gonna happen, we want to win a playoff game haha. Either way. Why would someone intentionally get a tie? To bring their division rivals into the playoffs with them? Lol everyone that is thinking they wanted to have the game end in a tie is down right dumb
@@CUbanageNT_24 Except for the fact the raiders already admited they wanted to go for a tie. dude speaks of "we" as if you had anything to do with that decision :D youre a fan chill out and watch
I think everybody outside of Pittsburgh wanted a tie, but the Raiders have more than earned this after everything they’ve gone through this season. From famous internet user Jon Gruden, Henry Ruggs going too fast, John Madden, and losing to the goddamn Giants, I wouldn’t be mad at all if they go all the way.
@@dickiedingus4025 I don't hate the Steelers lol. Just saying that both of these teams fought hard and both deserve to go. I just thought it would have been a cool moment that's all I'm sayin
I remember Carson as a rookie with Minnesota. Didn’t last long. 😂 Good to see the guy landed on his feet. Never would have thought he’d make it to a pro bowl, back then.
I don't see why everyone is talking about the timeout. The play clock was literally at 5 seconds, Staley didn't give the raiders any more time really. The raiders were probably gonna run the ball and they still ran the ball after the timeout anyway. If anything blame the chargers defense on that last play for not tackling him earlier. Raiders were trying to win the whole time. That timeout didn't change anything. (And before someone says Carr said it changed their strategy, can you explain to me HOW a TO with 5 seconds on the play clock changed their strategy?)
No, man. He DID screw up! After the two minute warning the Raiders were gonna run it three times and either let the clock run out or try a field goal. Look at the Chargers defense… even they didnt understand it thats why Jacobs flew past them.. they where all in shock.
@@edgardominguezcelis2809 jacobs flew past them because of personnel chargers took out a LB for A Safety(dumb decision). Raiders had no intention of tying yall need to relax
@@ChrisDMV301 this man had just won the most emotional game of his life and answered a question very quickly. What he probably meant was the timeout changed their strategy from a shotgun run (the formation they were in before the TO) to a standard run afterwards. The next sentence was literally him saying they always were planning to win.
In the after game interview Carr said they were playing to win. They might have been planning to tie before the TO and then got more aggressive but idk.
Raiders defense was trying really hard to lose that game! Unbelievable they couldn’t close the deal before OT. It should’ve been over when it was 29-14.
Wow!! From the gruden thing than the ruggs shit. Wow! Not a raider fan. Patriots all the way. But what a year,!! Can't believe I'm gonna say this but they deserve a superbowl
This game winning fg is gonna be controversial isn’t it… Honestly I agree with the decision, after all both teams knew it was a win and in game, and I think the raiders have a better chance with the bengals than with the chiefs who blew them out twice Just my opinion, if you’re hating on that then you’re either an understandably sad Chargers fan or a Steelers hater
Did I miss something? Everyone is saying the Chargers called a timeout, but Carr is clearly shown calling the timeout with 2 seconds left. Maybe it happened before this clip.
Yeah, before this the Raiders called 2 soft runs, blatantly not caring if the clock ran all the way out, but the Chargers called a TO for no reason and so Raiders said screw you and decided to just win.
@@QJD1381 No, after that timeout, the raiders ran an extra run play and got into field goal range. Of course the raiders would much rather play the bengals than the chiefs so they kicked it smh. Did you even watch the game?
If a was a raider fan I would want them to take the tie instead of taking the low risk of having it blocked but I guess they are big rivals and it makes sense to want to ruin their season
So youd rather them play the chiefs who blew us out twice rather than the bengals who we had a better time playing against? SMH not much of an informed fan now are you?
@@joe-tatothepotatobiden47 you don’t seem very “informed” about how the playoffs work. If they win in round one they have to play the Titans who got the bye assuming the chiefs win in which they have a 75.9% chance to win as of now. Then if they win in the divisional round that they go to the AFC championship which they would probably play the chiefs, but have a chance of playing either the bills or pats. So they would end up playing the Titans or Chiefs anyways if they think they have any chance.
@@highlightclips4383 You do realize that players get paid more the deeper into the playoffs they go right? With a young team like the raiders, lasting longer in the playoffs and winning a round will be invaluable experience and a huge boost to confidence. Youre obviously looking at things from a fans perspective and not an informed one👍
@@highlightclips4383 Josh Jacobs, hunter renfrow, the entire o line, are all on rookie contracts. Darren Waller has only been starting for a few years. Max Crosby, moehrig, abram, deablo, are all defensive starters on their rookie contracts. Playoff experience is invaluable to them and the team smh
How is this shit not rigged? This whole tie situation happens and Pittsburgh is involved with it being bens last season and it goes down to the last second like this. Really?
@@doubletrackdodger2512 fuel like a mix of wood and oil Plus they will and do play each other twice and are basically the exact same teams except for keenan allen is swapped for darren waller

Daniel Carlson was an absolute shank for the Vikings, then he goes back to his college kicking coach and relearned his steps up to the kick and has been great ever since. Only took losing everything to try to fix it. If you cant tell I'm still not over it.😅😪
