Raids 3 made OSRS the #1 MMO

osrs and ff14 are the best mmos imo ive tried a lot of them but those two are the one that have kept my interest for a long time. As for the raid i haven't tried it yet cause i just got back to osrs but i think the fang should be made more rare.

Make it like 1/1000 to see an entry mode purple, 1/100 at 150 then normal drop rates at 200+, anything under 200 is easier than chambers

Do you have any tips on the jump from solo entry mode to solo normal? The difficulty gap is seemingly massive. Like DPS drops significantly.

Great video and I completely agree with you, but this topic shouldn’t even be in question, RuneScape has and always will be the best MMO of all time. RuneScape has 1000x the content of all the other MMOs combined. Think about the difference in time and effort to max an OSRS account vs a WoW character… Think of all the people making an income from just creating things to do within the game with their imagination and sharing it through streaming and videos. Settled makes $500,000+ per year and he proves that this game has no limits. I think there’s an argument for RuneScape being the best video game of all time period.

Totally disagree reason why they did the things they did with raids 3 is for us solo players. As a solo player I wouldn't be able to do raids 3 if it was only available until max raid points

I'm all for purples on entry lvl, Ill be only using that for log completion. If they remove that. I'll stop doing TOA.

Completely disagree with your point about entry modes having the ability to drop the high value items. RS has always had monsters that are fairly easy to kill give the chance at extremely high value items(eg, an iron dragon could drop a visage worth 20m which was a lot back in the day). I think perhaps you have the perspective you do because you are a higher skill level player and want to make more money yourself by doing the more challenging content (which is still the case with the better drop rates anyway). At the end of the day the vast majority of osrs players aren't at your skill level and the content and drops should reflect that. If you said that the drop rate is too high at the lower difficulty then I think that could be a valid point (I'm not sure what the exact drop rates are). Good video though, I enjoy your content!

totally disagree with you mate sorry,you probably good af at raiding but not every one is like you dnt think about urself think about other ppl too not every one has a team some just do solos and it is now more difficult to do also the droprates decreased cmon totally nerfed the f outta the best raid jagex has released

Not really.... raids 3 is basically a dungeon. Doesn't allow all levels to benefit just an end game experience for potential items. Not really game changing.

My biggest problem with this raid is the fact that theirs no point to push for 300 clears in 30-40 minutes of time when you can run 3 150 level raids an hour at 20 min avgs once you get comfortable and learn mechanics. You also use literally no supplies on 150s except maybe a brew and a couple restores (not including item charges). It's painfully boring doing 150s solo but items are almost not worth doing any bigger than 2-3 man teams either. I gotta agree with invocations being completely unbalanced..

Have you seen the 6 hour 15,000 person queue's on every WoW server lately? I love OSRS, but with Wrath of the Lich King coming out, I imagine that Classic WoW takes the #1 slot currently.

Nah I hard disagree with you on purples on entry. Just make it incredibly rare: don’t take the chance away entirely. This is the first raid ever that is accessible to the bulk of the player base: mid game people. Sure you and I have maxed or near maxed accounts, most don’t. It’s okay to give them a 0.1% chance of a purple: that gives them motivation to run the content, and motivation to get better gear and stats to run higher RLs so they have better chances. It’s only a good thing for the game. Focusing on end game players will kill OSRS in the long term, and mid game players have mostly boring zero or low mechanic content until now. The game cannot survive without that part of the player base, even if you and I are no longer a part of it. Including them is a good thing, and a tiny tiny chance of a purple is a fine carrot to dangle to get them into it.

Would it be for the best if they reworked the previous two raids in this style with the invocations? Thanks.
