@@terrynaude284 is it worshipping the lord of heaven and earth? Or is it simply feeding the flesh in a feel good repetitive mantra creating a particular meditative brain pattern and endorphin dopamine feedback loop?

@@salgar1234 it’s what He wants us to engage in, He can engage with us in the most profound way. I many years ago had the much the same view as you until, by visiting a Presbyterian church on Christmas Day 1990, Cape Town, South Africa. We found ourselves as a family, very uncomfortable in a worship setting much like in this video, where God spoke to my wife and I individually, something we had never experienced before. He said this is what He wants in His church. That day we as a family had a paradigm shift on worship and church. Today my 3 children, in 3 different churches across the globe serve God much the same way as this, in leading worship, my grandchildren are following suit. We as a family have brought many to the Lord by inviting to church where these people encounter God. Press in, be expectant. Blessings from Johannesburg, South Africa.

@@terrynaude284 I understand that that is your ‘experience’, but that is the big red flag. What makes you be able to stake your soul on believing that God spoke to you in an audible voice or as a sense, feeling, or mind picture? Where is it in God’s Word that supports this belief of hearing god’s voice? Emotions are easily manipulated. People can appear to ‘make a decision for the Lord’ but is it a true conversion? I do not believe I had a true conversion. Now that God has graciously shown me the truth I am VERY wary and discerning of all I listen to, and absolutely what I sing.
