We did a day trip by bus to Zakopane from Krakow when I worked there, it was nearly 30 yrs ago, it was a lot different back then. Also the bus trip was so cheap (for a foreigner) it was almost free. We went to the top of the ski jump area and sat in a bar drinking mulled wine and beer. Great country, nice people and good times.
Another great video hope the weather improves for you, nice looking breakfast, you never know what happens when you stop to buy something at the side of the road. Take care be safe my best wishes to you from the Philippines ❤️🤔💭🏁🏍️🛺🐑🇵🇭🏴
My beloved wife don't do sympathy so she would have been laughing as well. Zakopane looked a real nice place, I like all the street food stores so much to choose from and all looked good. Shame you didnt manage to get any.
Hi OTRA...I commented on a recent video about a Hedgewitch product for, bugs, midges, mozzies etc....they also do a product in a little tin for post-bite treatment....great adventures you guys...keep it going...!!
Another brilliant clip guys. I’m just catching up on all ur recent uploads having been down to Andorra and Spain bike camping. I’m convinced you need a Hilti gun and a bag of nails to camp in Spain, every campsite is on gravel. Off to Germany again soon where they still have grass though 🤗 Keep up the clips guys and stay safe 😊👍🏍️🏍️
Ah a road trip through Germany and onto friends in Slovakia is one of my bucket list rides, so great to see the familiar roads of the High Tatra's; thanks for sharing and great films. Would love to see a review of your MSR tent, pack size etc. when you get a moment?
Welcome on the road! You’re in for a laugh! You can find our tour playlists on the channel page if you want to catch up with what’s been happening. We are on the All in Tour right now 👍
If you had shared your beer instead of squashing that jasper his m8 wouldn't have come for payback😉Good for you both to get a rest day in, you both looked and sounded more perky. looking forward to your next vid, you just know there gonna be a good watch before you press play 👍
Some lovely scenery along the way! Rich your face was a picture with the meal! Ewa food looked ok your meal looked a little bland. I feel your pain a few years ago we were up a mountain on the Vespa and I had shorts on and the bugger stung me as we were riding along you should of heard what I called it 🐝
Rich comes out with some funny things. Made me lol. "Is it fuck, Salt is more bacon that the bacon......" You got stung cos you squshed his friend. Btw. Eva laughing was as funny as. Guess you missed the bus. Pissing on a sting works. sure eva would do it once she stops laughing
Cracking!! Funniest wasp bite I've ever seen!! 😅😂😂 Loving the countryside...and the Freddie Dobbs music!!! Love to see a room of luxury for you occasionally. Poland looks exciting!
@@ontheroadadventure that's brilliant! But I do like your individual styles. Honestly. FD and OTR are 2 of my Must-View channels. I do like Escape to Rural France. You probably don't have time for it tho
I had a wasp fly in my lid and stung me on the temple 5 times on a day out. I swelled up so bad, I couldn't get my lid back on when I went to come home. I looked like the elephant man! So good to see the sympathy from Ewa 🤣🤣
🐝🐝 little bastards🐝🐝!! Sorry Rich but I was laughing along with Ewa🤣. Liking the look of Polish food places. Looking forward to seeing a bit of Poland🇵🇱, haven’t seen a biking tour there before. Ride safe Cambridge UK🇬🇧
3 weeks ago was touring the Swiss passes, visor up, enjoying scenery, air, sun etc and a large, I mean huge, flying insect hit me on the cheek. Lots of pain which improved after 3 days. Could not see a sting and skin had not been punctured. Arrived home, still tender, but after 5 days my cheek started swelling & more pain. Had an infection and put on a course of antibiotics, now ok. I get it, not a laughing matter, same as man flu🤣🤣. Stay in the saddle (a German biking salutation).
Sorry, but you crack me up with your honesty. Keep being real and showing me europe from a couple of bikes. Enjoying every episode. Playing catch up. P. S. I left Clevedon fo Canada 42 yrs ago. My cousins lived in Exerter and Nana and Grandad had a home near a dairy farm that looked down o Exeter. Sister in Clevedon. Ttyl
great episode again guys 👍glad to see the Dad jokes are back Rich but i did not see any eyes in the venison soup so I've got no eye Dear what it tastes like 😂😂 Keep up the good work 😍
Hi Rich and Ewa! To help waterproof your riding suits, buy some 3M ScotchGuard and spray that on your jacket and pants. I rarely wear waterproofs when touring and it starts to rain, on a GS1200 and I never get wet! I do carry a rain suit just in case of a monsoon, though! Ride safe! 🏍️🌦️👍🇿🇦🍺
I have used those waterproofing sprays before, Yes good stuff but i prefer to put on the waterproofs and keep my kit dry as best i can especially when camping. Prevention is always better than cure
Hi Guys The bus stop you stopped at on Route 66, for Rich to whine about his stung wrist, is above the village I stayed 2 nights in, in June this year. Some great riding in Tatra mountains. I followed the same route into Poland. Many great wooden churches in that area. Keep on crocing. Cheers. Barry.🏍😎
Absolutely brilliant keep up the good work,I think that your adventures are great fun .I know touring and camping can be hard work at times but you make it such fun.
I used to love watching you two chuckle buddies with my headphones on in my own little world. Because of the great content I now have to watch with the better half. Unfortunately for you Rich she wants to raise a few questions. 1) how come Ewa has two panniers, top box and roll bag and you only have a top box and roll bag. 2) Ewa does all the cooking and shopping. I always say to my wife when I cross the rainbow bridge I’m leaving everything to she always replies you do that now you lazy #@£&.🇬🇧🔥👏👏👏🏍✊✊✊✊🤙
Lol say hi to the wife from us... Ewa has the panniers as her bike came with fittings needed to have them, we tried to do mine but it was not possible without replacing the top box and hand rails etc, nothings ever easy! so Ewa carries the light stuff in her bags, Pillows, Sleeping bags etc and i have the Tent, power banks and heavier things. Our other Duties we Split up according to what we are good at, if im sent to the shop il walk around for 40 mins and come out with 5 unrelated items for tea lol, and ewa is just the better cook..... Like wise i look after the bike maintenance and do more of the manual work... As a team, We get it Done
@@ontheroadadventure Trace has accepted your explanations Rich and will keep a careful eye on your future actions. Currently loving the content dont forget to take time out for yourselves in the coming days and don’t burn yourselves out to the vlogs out. 👏👏🇬🇧🤙🥇
I left Poland 25 years ago and the thing I miss the most from there is proper sausage(s). Variety, taste etc. Nowhere in the world to be found apart from Poland. You go to any shop and you will find 10 types, you go to big shop and you will see 30 types. Eh... ;-)
@@ontheroadadventure while you are there, try the smoked one - JALOWCOWA (Kielbasa Jalowcowa - Juniper Berry Sausage) - you will start ordering it from local Polish shop in UK on routine basis ;-)
(2030) as a residential home builder, I'm looking at all the A framed roofs. Must be a lot of snow fall, and the roofs are mostly slate & everything else is hard woods,
There’s loads of places in the Middlands that make that town look posh Are Ewa ate Bambi My misses would have been laughing too The town looks really nice I liked the stream with the lights
Zakapone was really nice, we spend a good amount of time walking around and seeing whats going on there... Posh, and midlands in the same sentence... that is rare!
It would seem one of you doesn't like E. European food!!! even the burgers you had didn't suit. Mind, I haven't eaten a burger since Wimpy in the 60's. The bee episode was hilarious, well, for some of us anyway. Loving the ride and two comentaries.. look forward to tomorrows episode.
I hate wasps. And mosquitos. I feel your pain, even if Eewa doesn't. When we were in Morocco my friend got stung by a wasp on his forehead. It swelled up so much that the following morning he couldn't open one of his eyes. Why didn't you buy some food before they closed? Some great food there and you walked right past it. I like Zakopane (been twice).
That is me and Ewa all over, we walk the whole street trying to decide which we want best only to miss the boat!! Dont worry we went back to try all the Street food!
There have been news reports here in the UK saying that wasps have been very scarce here this year. Well now we know were they are! Trying to get free drinks of beer in this restaurant. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@ontheroadadventure it is always funny when something like this happens to someone else. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Although I really hope Rich was not it to much discomfort.🤞🤞🤞🤞 I have never been to Poland so looking forward to seeing your videos.
This is not looking good, i tried the couple places i had in mind, i under estimated massively how many would want to come, one location is just to small, the next one has no available quite weekends to allow for such numbers
(24:24) not showing the wife this candy store.( I won a 20 Hersey Bar many years ago, and they wife and her mom, ate the whole thing in less than a week)
Yes Amazon is in the uk, we love it almost anything is available within a couple days…. kills the high streets though! I’m not sure how that works though
@@ontheroadadventure because when Eva chuckles the world chuckles with her 😆 That being said you have my sympathy having been stung on the lip at 60mph some years back.
