We all have tunes, verses, poems and memories that come to mind when we are left alone with nature. Summer rain is beautiful, especially when it shows up unexpectedly amidst the dust and heat. Every time the scent of soil and the whispers of wind begin to take over, my mind starts wandering towards the notes of this particular melody. Presenting to you my rain song. An exploration through the notes of the Raga Udayaravichandrika. Why do I invariably hum these particular collections of notes when it rains? I have no idea, but it brings me great joy. And I am happy to share it with all of you.

When both sun and moon rise (udayaravi....) together...amidst monsoon clouds...this rag sets all mood of tranquillity and serenity!

Hi! Seems like udayaravichandrika and Suddha danyasi both have the same notes. Can you please post a video elucidations the differences between the two ragas . It would be the most helpful. Thanks for consideration.
